I had a hall closet pull light switch replaced and my kitchen sink and faucet replaced. I purchased the sink and faucet. Mr. McNeil was very nice and respectful, and had to work harder than initially expected when looking at the work needed. But, afterwards the cold water pressure in the sink is lower than before and the water to my refrigerator water dispenser is so low that it has rendered the water from my refrigerator unusable. I don?t know what the issue is, but I now have to get a plumber to look at it.

I have never had such unprofessional service in my life. After contacting Mr. McNeil for some simple around-the-house fixes. First, he gave me a quote which I do not know if it was reasonable or not as I have nothing to measure it by. I asked for an itemized list for each task mainly so I could tell my friends about him and push some business his way. But he claimed that he could not do that because he rates according to location and gas prices .ok, whatever. One of the tasks was to change a lightbulb in the shower. He never checked to see if it was working. It turned out the newly installed bulb was bad. He had already left by the time I discovered it was not working and he ended up having to turn around and replace the bulb again. Another one of the tasks was to install an overhead light fixture in a hallway. He asked to use my ladder because he did not want to go outside in the cold to get his. Ok, no problem. Well, he ended up bending/breaking my step ladder. He completed this task with his own equipment. He says it was too cold to paint my front door and railing and would have to come back to complete those jobs. Long story short. I have been waiting for him to complete the job since January 29th. It is now April 5th. He has not responded to my many, MANY texts. Oh and btw, he made no mention of replacing the step ladder that he broke, so I texted him on January 31 and told him that I would replace my step ladder and send him the receipt. No response. On February 10th, I sent him a receipt on February 10th in the amount of $39.98 for the step ladder. He responds within 30 minutes saying I will be replacing the one exactly like the 1 that I fell off of and if not like that 1 it will be close to that 1. He replaced my ladder on February 16th. At that time, he said he will come back to finish the front door and front railing. I have not seen nor heard from him since. Oh, and another btw, I have already paid for this still incomplete job.

He was professional, fair in pricing, seemed to be looking out for us and our best interests. He was a very pleasant person - came when he said he would and did the job just like he said he would do it. He already has a list of our next projects to quote! He is very knowledgeable about a wide variety of tasks and will help save us money - I feel confident in his work and confident in his quotes.

I can't recommend Mr. McNeil highly enough. We needed the work done ASAP to get our house ready to put on the market, and he came out to do the work in less than a week; came on the day he said he would; and called when he was on his way. I texted him during the week to check to see what day he was coming and he got right back to me. He only had a couple of hours to work as I needed to leave to get my daughter from the bus stop, and he worked quickly yet his work also looks excellent. He fixed a stair handrail for us that had come completely loose because the anchor had been installed in drywall. He moved the anchor to a stud and patched the old hold in the drywall, and the handrail is amazingly sturdy now. He also replaced about 6-8 feet of toe kick on our kitchen cabinets; tacked another section of toe kick more securely to the cabinets; and patched a large drywall hole and a smaller hole. He touched up the paint in a few other spots around the stair landing that needed it that I hadn't noticed but now that he's touched it up, it looks much better. He also caulked some gapping baseboard trim and troubleshooted the gap around my stove (it turns out my stove just wasn't pushed in the counter enough leaving an ugly gap between the stove and counter top.) He got all the work done with time to spare even though I added on a couple of items to the work list. He is polite, professional, and knowledgeable, and we'll definitely call him for our next job. I just wish we would've called him sooner and not lived with those few issues in disrepair!

He replaced a board on the porch with PVC board and caulked around the gutter seams. he responded right away to come out and he was very nice. I thought he was a little high for the length of time he was here.

Mr. McNeil did an amazing job he fixed my sliding laundry door that was off the hinges and track. He was very professional and worked fast. I felt very comfortable with him in my home due to his professionalism. He also charged me a reasonable rate. I will solely stick with Mr. McNeil for future projects that are in his realm of expertise
