Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
Yes, I recommend this pro
Mike did a wonderful, wonderful job of installing a electrical light with a dimmer switch above a cut out in our living room. He also installed glass shelves with an adjustable track system, and did some painting in the same area. Mike was very professional in every way. The job was completed in a timely manner. We would recommend Mike to anyone in need of some home improvements Suwanee, GA

I paid Mike McSweeney and unfortunately he left the job and did not contact me for 5 weeks. His father called me and said that Mike had hurt his arm. His father asked me to please consider allowing Mike to finish the job. These are rental properties and time was important. I already had lost 2 months of rent due to Mike's disappearance. Like a fool, I gave him another shot, paid him towards the balance because he cried poor (even though work was not performed) and he is missing in action again. I poured my heart out to Mike McSweeney about my financial difficulties, my mom's illness and some legal problems relating to a tenant. I told him I was under alot of stress and that I needed to get the houses ready to rent. He took my money and I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks. I handled the situation badly. I'm sharing this so you can avoid making the same mistake. Thanks Mike, you're quite a man.
Response from evens contracting
"As you read this, this customer had many personal problems going on, this made it difficult to work with her. This is a job from a long time ago, I did work the $ situation out with her and I decided that it might be better if she got someone else to finish up the few items that needed to be finished being I was not able to use my right hand and was not able to use it for over 3 months."

Never provided any satisfaction. Checked with Armstrong and had representatives come out and the blame still goes on the installer - Mike/McRyder Construction. Mike is very well aware of this. I also discovered much later that Mike had no insurance when he did this work although he told me he was fully licensed and insured!
Response from evens contracting
"This customer never took the time to update this rating since I went back and replaced the entire hallway free of charge. I have installed plenty of this type of flooring and have never had a problem, I believe that it was just a bad batch of flooring.I have to have insurance to work through service magic, so maybe she gets the no insurance idea from when I switched companies, I don't know."

It was good working with McRyder since we had a number of things going in the remodeling process and we weren't under a strict deadline. Altough they didn't install the granite counter tops they put us together with a contractor and we saved several hundred dollars by using them.
Response from evens contracting
"We did a number of other small jobs for this customer and he was also thinking about having an addition put on his house but that's on hold for know, great people to do work for, thanks again Ron for the review, Mike."
