Weâ ve done a lot of work on our house, and McAdams is easily one of the best organizations our family has had the pleasure of working with. Both owners, Rowan and Ken (a dynamic father / son duo), are highly collaborative and friendly individuals. The entire experience, from initial project scoping, through to the site walk through and job execution felt more akin to a partnership than hiring a contractor. These guys really listened, understood what a we were looking for, and were super creative in finding the right solution that fit our budget. Ken & Rowan went above and beyond to ensure that we were informed at every stage of the process, were open to mid-project modifications, and always went the extra mile to make sure everything looked perfect. They transformed the exterior of our home, and we couldnâ t be more pleased. We canâ t wait to hire them for more projects in the future!

This father and son duo team were just amazing. They had accommodated my changes I requested throughout our project and we couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. Phenomenal job.. I had McAdams install French drains around my house after experiencing flooding in my basement for the first time in 16 years. After the install they expertly landscaped the part of the yard where they excavated and it looks great. I had obtain multiple quotes from other companies who came in very high and offered only one solution. Rowan took the time to listen to me and offer up various solutions. I felt comfortable and trusting of Rowan. _single mother here) Both he and his dad are great guys, very easy ti work with and most of all honest. The attention to detail of the work was top rate. We had three sink holes in our yard that they took care of for us, as well as spreading loam for us to start a lawn in the spring. I very highly recommend McAdams Excavation.

Absolutely fantastic work. We have a 200+ year old farmhouse and wanted to bring it back to its former glory by clearing away massive overgrowth and tall bushes close to the home that were obscuring the house and growing through outside wiring. Ken and his sons got this big job done within only a week, disentangled the bushes without interfering with wiring, and graded our property to help with water drainage. I am even more in love with my house now and canâ t say enough about their professionalism and skill. A couple of my neighbors were so impressed with their work, they also hired them!

Working with Ken, Rowan and Roger on a complex, multi-pronged drainage, landscape and hardscape project has been nothing short of inspiring. It was by pure chance I was put in touch with them late last summer — and during a time when it was incredibly difficult to come by any contractors, with availability and/or enthusiasm to take on a job with unknown parameters. At every step, we have had full confidence in their abilities, ranging from the engineering of drainage issues to the artistry of retrofitting new stone materials into a patio with old, character-filled granite curbing, to truly create a one-of-a-kind outdoor living area. Things we never thought possible — such as resetting sunken granite steps and stoops — are exactly where Ken and his team excel. They have been great partners in our long-haul restoration project, and beyond being skilled craftsmen, are also really wonderful people to know!
