McBriens Fire & Flue

What was supposed to be a simple chimney clean became a few varying repairs. Bit of a bummer but thankfully we had Jorge and Marvin to help us with it. Something that was really appreciated is the amount of photos they took to show the before and after. The things about roofs and chimneys is you kind of just have to blindly trust the experts but these guys do so much to make sure that you can understand and see what’s going on. They probably spent an hour helping me understand chimney mechanics alone! I appreciate that so much especially when it comes to complicated repairs.

Jorge and Diego did a great job ... were polite and friendly, and completed the job of installing stainless liner, damper and cap within a few hours. The work was completed within a week of ordering it. The workers cleaned everything up when they departed.

The guys that cleaned my chimney were great. Very polite and respectful.

The team at McBrien’s was great to work with. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. We appreciated all of their assistance and highly recommend them!

Jorge, Brandon, Tyler, Diego and Julio worked extremely hard and with professionalism to get the job done right. Jorge communicated with pictures the condition of flue throughout the entire process.

Jorge and his crew replaced two flue liners and also changed over a very heavy stone cap to a large stainless steel custom cap. Omar was very professional planning and pricing the job which probably took more time than anticipated. The he team who got the job done worked fearlessly on a very high stone chimney and did an excellent job. Very polite and informative as we asked questions throughout the process. Thanks to all for your good work!

They installed a stainless steel liner in two of my chimneys for almost half the piece I got quoted from another company and did a great job. They were able to do it for less because they did the work that actually needed to be done and didn’t try to add work that was unnecessary which the other company was trying to do. They were friendly and shot straight with me. I will use them again for sure.

Omar and his technicians came to our house to install a liner and chimney cap. They worked diligently throughout the day and through some tough to navigate conditions in our chimney. They solved every problem and stayed at the job into the night to finish for us. They were professional, easy to work with, easy to understand, and they made the experience headache free. I will be looking to them again for any chimney needs. Highly recommend.

McBriens Fire & Flue were excellent. They showed up right on time and were professional, honest, and genuinely kind. My fireplace situation turned out to be pretty simple, but they still took the time to help and clean things out thoroughly. My English is not very good, but they were very patient explaining everything to me. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had with a service company. I felt they were completely trustworthy. Highly recommend them for any chimney work!

When I tell you this is the most professional team I?ve had the pleasure of hiring, I mean it. I rarely ever take the time to write reviews, but this team deserves it! I will be using them every. Single. Time. They take the time to explain how your system works, makes sure you are comfortable with the knowledge they?ve given you, and answers any and all questions you have with a smile on their face. You will not regret hiring them!

I needed a chimney repair/rebuild discovered when the cap fell off. Found many cracks and some missing bricks. Great job, looks good. The guys were very nice to my dog also and Cleaned up the site nicely. I appreciated that Omar gave me choices with how to get the work done and possibly save some money and the pros and cons of those choices. 2 thumbs up!

The McBriens Fire & Flue team arrived quickly and pinpointed the issue right away. My fireplace is now working again, just as the colder season approaches! Thanks, Omar!

The whole experience was a pleasure. Omar came out and inspected my fireplace Chimney and the furnace Chimney. Unlike the regional company that gave me an outrageous estimate Omar was honest and explained the situation. The price was 1/2what the regional company wanted and I will guarantee you that they would not have done as good a job. Julio and Brandon did the 2 double wall 6" Chimneys and repaired some loose bricks for me. The work was completed in a timely manner and the courtesy and professionalism of both Julio and Brandon couldn't have been better 👍. I'd recommend them to anyone needing any of the services offered

Omar and his team are amazing. I was given a detailed explanation of what needed to be done . Which helped me to completely understand how and why . McBrien’s fire and flue is a honest and professional company . With genuine and friendly and professional people working for the company. Jenna is a pleasure to work with and has amazing communication throughout the whole process . They price fair and get the job done right and efficient . I will be working with them again on any job we need done with our chimney in the future and highly recommend them.

They were thorough, respectful and efficient. All of the work was first rate.

Omar did an exemplary job making sure the work was durable and overall appearance looked great. He was wonderful, positive and kind addressing any questions I had. He had a great crew too.

After a chimney fire this spring, an inspection of the flue showed a buildup of creosote, a smoke chamber design that was prone to building up creosote, and several cracked clay tiles at the top of the flue. I had probably five contractors provide me with ways to address these issues and the cost to fix them. By far McBrien Flre and Flue had the best explanation of what the real issues were and a game plan on how to proceed which gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and were giving me an honest appraisal. I elected to go with McBrien because I felt confident in their expertise and honesty. Earlier today the McBrien crew, led by Eric, showed up on time. They were polite, professional, and respectful of my home and property. The work was completed as promised, at the price promised, and on time. I am very pleased with McBrien and their work, and highly recommend them. I will continue to use them for my annual chimney cleanings. A pleasure to work with.

Excellent communication, great job repairing chimneys and installing caps.

I had an excellent experience with McBrien Fire & Flue and would highly recommend them to anyone needing chimney work. My chimneys were in need of quite a bit of attention, including masonry repairs, cleaning, and new chimney caps. From beginning to end, the team at McBrien Fire & Flue was professional, kind, knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. They took the time to explain what needed to be done, answered my questions clearly, and kept me informed throughout the process. I never felt pressured or unsure about the work being recommended, and it was obvious that they genuinely cared about doing the job correctly. The quality of the finished work was excellent, and it gives us tremendous peace of mind knowing that the chimney has now been properly repaired, cleaned, and protected. It can be difficult to find contractors who combine excellent workmanship with honesty, reliability, and genuinely good customer service, but McBrien Fire & Flue certainly does. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Omar gave me a fair and realistic price for a fireplace stainless steel pipe, a furnace stainless steel pipe, full masonry work on the chimney, flashing around the chimney and capping each pipe. Omar and his crew came in and finished in one day. They were very professional, clean and efficient. They did a great job and I'd highly recommend them. I'm personally going to use them every year for chimney cleaning and any other work I may need in the future.

I had my chimney cap, flashing repaired and waterproofing done to my stone chimney. Work was excellent, guys were professional and friendly. They were flexible and worked with my schedule since I just had the one day.

We had a great experience with this company. They cleaned our chimney, installed a new chimney liner, replaced the necessary parts, and put on a new chimney cap. The entire process was professional, efficient, and very reasonably priced. Eric was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything they were doing. They left the area clean and made sure everything was working safely before they left. We really appreciated their honesty, quality workmanship, and affordable pricing. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable chimney repairs or maintenance!

After discovering what appeared to be a leak coming from the roof down the side of our chimney. McBrien's did a prompt estimate and provided a detailed analysis (with photos) of the failed flashing at the base of our chimney. The two-man team made the recommended repairs and mounted a cap (which was missing) in a timely, professional manner.

Eric and his crew were amazing! Eric took the time to explain the needed repairs and how they would work for us. Being from Texas this was all new. He explained the other heating options we had in our home and answered questions about future upgrades we were thinking of. They were professional and friendly. Cleaned up and gave us before and after pictures. They did a great job.
