Avoid this contractor. Terrible experience. Years ago we hired Mike to build a deck, it was a huge mistake. On installation day, all I heard from the crew was ?oh sh_t, oh sh_t.? I asked if everything was okay. They said it was fine and promised to finish that night. Mike insist to get final payment before leaving town. He assured me he?d inspect the deck when he got back. Turns out, most of the boards were cracked. They likely didn?t pre-drill and used the wrong nails, placing them too close to the edge of the Trex boards. I called him a week later. He came out, saw the damage, and promised to replace the boards. But that was last time we saw him. He never returned my calls, never took responsibility, and never fixed his poor workmanship. Now the deck is in bad shape. The joists are cracked and rotting, making it unsafe. We have to rebuild the entire deck and frame, which is extremely costly. Stay away from this contractor, his work is slobby, and won't stand behind it.

Project was a long time ago just getting to this now. Very knowledgeable and know exactly what they were doing.

Mike did a great job on our basement. We originally inquired about his services for an egress window and ended up hiring him to finish our basement. Mike's quality of work and strong customer service is a great value. He gave us guidance with design and suggestions with functionality of the space. He also created some great add-ins with custom built in shelving and storage. Mikes price never changed from the original quote even with changes to the design. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to enhance their basement.
