Electrical for Home Addition or Remodel Installation
Work is not finished, but we paid in full. Matt Gravely of McLanna Electric was to wire an 1800 sq ft basement but we are having trouble. We cannot use a vacuum anywhere because the breaker goes off. The door bell he installed doesn't ring. He didn't install a receptacle needed for the airhandler. Now if we use the a/c, the closet fills with water because the pump isn't connected. The electrician blames Atlanta A/C contractor and vice versa. Mr. Gravely said McLanna went out of business and he can't make corrections. It seems al along that he, himself is McLanna Electric. No one returns our calls. '

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was contacted promptly, and an appointment was set up for the same day. Matt arrived early, gave me a quote, completed the work quickly and professionally, and was very pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Matt was very professional and had the best customer service, I have not seen that in a long time.. Matt advised me of things I could do to save money and stay on budget,he was not out to just get paid..but to educate and give great service....I would highly recommend him for all of your electrical work...

This was one of the worst experience I've had with a Service Magic Professional. It started out great and I selected them based on price, but the reality of it is that these guys charge a lot to begin with, but then the technician attempted to charge me additional money (extra hour) for something he caused. When I challenged him on it, he was able to fix the problem in less than five minutes. The original job called for installing 3 to 5 electrical outlet boxes; two hours to do this at $85 per hour. I don't believe it takes that long to do such a simple job. I will never never do business with such a dishonest company.

We needed an attic exhaust fan hooked up. Matt was on time, quickly assessed the problem, completed the task and suggested while he was there to get labeled some blank breaker box circuits at no additional cost. I was very satisfied.

He was on time for the appointment, inspected the attic fan, found a problem with the motor and later came back with a replacement motor. The attic fan works now.

The electrician that came out was professional and did a good job. I had a few issues, namely that the job took longer than expected. There were some initial misunderstandings about the size of the new panel being installed and there were a couple of unexpected issues that caused the job to run long and cost more than initially quoted. Still for the size of the job and the completed result I'm more than satisfied with the quality of their workmanship.

Total ripoff. First, the technician came an hour late. What was supposed to be an estimate turned into a $400 repair for an attic fan motor. It took the tech 3 hours to supposedly get a motor (all while he tried to bill me for this). I had to call to find out when he would return because he took the fan with him and left the roof opening uncovered. When I asked about the fee/charges I was told $90 plus parts. The tech later stated that he meant $90/hr to include his picking up the part, lunch, running around and who knows what else. He constantly banged my doorway and stairwell with his ladder and never cleaned up his mess!

We try to keep our communication high, and make sure that there are not any discrepancies about the price of an invoice at the end of each project to avoid a review like this one. Obviously, If this customer had paid more attention to our conversation about our prices for this project, there wouldn�t have been a discrepancy. I also dropped our price to try and work with this customer to avoid this type of review. We are sorry to say that this customer could not be pleased. We will not work for this customer again and would not recommend this customer to any other contractors using Service M"
