Credit needs to be given where credit is due. Paul and his guys really helped us out of a bad spot a few weeks back when we had high winds and near-tornado conditions in Scottsville. I had been putting off having a quite large spruce on our property trimmed back, since it appeared if it ever fell, it would fall away from our home. The man upstairs (or Mom Nature — whoever) had a good laugh at that idea and, all I can say is that I was lucky we weren’t home at the time. The winds split the tree in half and the bifurcation sent the heavy side (of course) right onto our roof above our bathroom and a large chunk of our siding. Attached branches shattered the bathroom window, as well. Needless to say, our home was pretty nicely damaged. The Ring camera recorded most of the impact — I’d upload it here if I could! My neighbor had actually used Paul’s services a year prior for roof repairs (also due to high winds), and he was happy to give me his number. We were badly in need of an emergency enclosure. You could literally see the outside from our bathroom. As a side note, you never really realize how insanely dependent you are on your main bathroom until part of the roof is crashed in and you can no longer use it… In any case, Paul was able to get his crew out there pronto and they were actually able to start on the spot; the estimate process was lightning fast and once we agreed on everything (it was quite reasonable), they got to work on closing our house back up temporarily so we could reclaim some sense of normalcy while we started the machinations of dealing with the insurance company and orchestrating the actual structural repair. They definitely treated it like an emergency, and I was very thankful that they appreciated the urgency of the matter. For an emergency enclosure, it honestly looked and performed great. We had rain again the next day after it was enclosed, and we had no issues. The emergency enclosure held up perfectly until we were able to arrange to have the proper repair commissioned. Seeing how well they did in the emergency phase of our ordeal, naturally we went with Mr. Melnik’s team for the full monty and had them do the roof repair, siding, and window. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to do all three. I’ll quit my yappin’ and I guess I’ll just say that I wanted to thank Paul and his guys for going the extra mile and doing it quickly. Loved the team that came to repair my roof. They worked with Liberty Mutual to pay for everything and made the whole process very smooth! Thank you for your help with everything!

They did a wonderful job! Communication and customer service was excellent. The work they did was on very visible damage and the repair is seamless with the original structure. They even matched the paint perfectly somehow! I highly recommend.

Please be careful since it seems this firm is not experienced in siding projects.

We had a leak in our sunroom and out of 6 contractors I tried to contact, Roofing Rochester was the only one who returned my call and had a guy out to look at the job 24 hours later. They responded to every question I had, quickly and thoroughly. They were prompt, communicative, and just great to work with! I already have another job lined up for them.

Roofing Rochester did very professional work on rebuilding my roof. It was done in a timely manner and took care in eliminating all the past problems that the roof had. Customer service was friendly and professional. They help me deal with my insurance company to see that I had all the necessary information and paper work to get the coverage I deserved. I am happy with the experience. My only advice is to be sure of the cost of plywood from the start.

The work was done in only one 12 hour day

I am so thankful that Davis Herold made a commitment to reseal my skylight. At first I was told by another rep that they were backed up and couldn't get to the job til spring. After I protested he looked at it again and said he would try to get one of the techs to get it done. I checked the ceiling after it rained and I did not see any leaks in my ceiling. Thanks so much Davis!

Working with Norm for getting a estimate was very pleasant. He answered all my guestions and treated me with respect. Working with mike during the day of roofing install was great. He sent me pictures of what the guys found during installation and explained details. He did a great job of walking around the property after job was complete and when I called him later in the day to verify pick up of extra materials and dumpster he called me back and was grateful I called. The gentlemen that did the work on the roof install did a great job of installing the roof and clean up afterwards. I would gladly hire this business again.

This was a great experience for me. We did have a small leak that happened during construction (the tarp had a small leak) that was taken care of the very next morning (less than 12 hours) Communication at the start was a little slow, however, once that project was under way this issue was non-existent.

They made demand in regards to the money, the job was never done and they have the money.
