Merk General Construction - Unlicensed Contractor

As a property manager with 20 properties I am always looking for dependable quality companies and people to use for repairs and service. I have known and used Erick Tobar and his company for a number of years and can recommend them with absolute confidence.

I had a large job to install 1,,300 sf tile. The job took over 2.5 weeks. They showed everyday until the job was complete. Excellent workmanship.

I recently needed drywall work on a bedroom ceiling, wall and closet drop down ceiling. After receiving a few quotes, I selected Erick from Merk General Construction due to his professionalism and most detailed quote (competition simply wrote "labor" without explanation or another had an additional day added). Erick was honest and the pricing was competitive, he arrived when he said he would and completed the project on-time with a level of quality I'm thankful to have received. I was remotely working 50-feet away and if not for the actual sound of work being performed, I would have never known he was there. The level of skill shows that he takes pride in his work. They have also done roof repairs,exterior painting and general contractor and handyman services. I have called on Erik for several years since referred to me and his work has been excellent ( I run a property management company and call him first before my other vendors).

Eric is our go to guy. He does great work, he s dependable, we have always been able to get an appt with him within a few days of our service call, and he s reasonably priced for the quality of work he does. We ve used him for adding electrical outlets, indoor and outdoor light fixtures, portable a/c installation, and we intend to go through his company when we redo our roof on our home. I definitely recommend MERC!!!

Erik worked on the majority of the job. He was professional, polite, hard-working, customer-oriented, responsive, takes his work seriously and has pride in providing the best service he can. We were most pleased with the skill he demonstrated on a quite difficult repair job on sunken, large fiberglass French doors. We would certainly recommend Merk and would hire them again.

Erik was in charge of the project and they do a great job. Their response time was fast and they did the job faster than I expected. I really appreciated their service.

Erick called within 5 minutes of requesting a handyman. He came to the house in a couple of hours and figured out what the problem was, which was different from what I had been told by two other people. The difference saved me money! Isn't it nice to have someone who knows what the heck they are doing?!

Eric and his crew were efficient and highly skilled. Eric is a perfectionist, which is what we all want in a contractor. I can recommend them with confidence. I hired them for drywall repair, painting, tile flooring & installation of a bathroom vanity & toilet which included slightly tricky plumbing.
