Fred Merkle is a top notch builder and anything you need home repair person. He renovated our 1975 condo which still had the metallic floss wallpaper in it to prove it. It was taken back to the studs along with some walls moved. Total redo of electric to remove aluminum wiring. Redo of the plumbing, flooring, kitchen, and bathrooms. This was done over eight years ago and still looks great. Since the renovation, Fred has done several other fix ups, enhancements, and repairs for me and friends. All with great craftsmanship and attitude.

He is on time and informative and pleasant!!!!!!!! His craftsmanship is excellent. He fixed my subfloor and huge drywall hole and painted. Covered vents, etc. excellent care and work. Removed my old washer and dryer.

Mr. Merkle is very professional and was pleasant to deal with. More importanly, his rate was about 1/2 the price of a couple of others that I contacted and I think that's because he does his own estimates (anyone who send an estimator is going to charge you more). Finally, he did the job w/in a few days and did good work. I plan to use him again for more home improvement work. Highly recommended !

We would highly recommend Fred Merkle for any project you may have. Fred is extremely detail oriented and exhibits high quality workmanship in all facets of his work. He also went through great pains to respect our house and furnishings and also left absolutely no mess after himself. Price was very fair to boot!

I own a condo that is really nice . It was from the 60's and he did a total renovation. He is a perfectionist and is awesome, Fred is our "go to" contractor for any repairs on my home and the condo associations homes. He's really honest hard working. He doesn't cut corners and is an excellent carpenter.
