They seemed much more knowledgeable about the repair needed than the other two estimates we received, which us wht we picked them. They were quick and cleaned up the work.

They came right out the day I contacted them and provided a temporary fix that would prevent further leaking. They then came out several days later and did a complete removal and replacement of bad wood and shingles. They put in flashing and thoroughly sealed everything up.

I highly recommend Jim Merrick and his crew. We went through a lengthy, and thorough, review/estimate/quote process with approximately 10 different local and national roofers for a complete roof, gutters and downspouts. Jim and his team beat them all on quality, materials used and pricing. They were on time, polite, thorough and Jim Merrick himself showed up to inspect the finished product. My wife and I were very impressed. We have had numerous neighbors of out of their way to compliment us on the new look of our house. If you are looking for a roofer, local or national company, do not overlook Jim and his team. Call them and give them an opportunity. You will not be disappointed.

Jim was the person who explained everything in detail leaving out nothing, he knew his job we were given a quote in writing. His crew was friendly and cleaned up all garbage, I would recommend this company for any roof repairs or installation.

Spectacular response to my request for quote (submitted request on a Sunday evening and got a call within 10 minutes). Doug was at my house (no easy task to find) at the scheduled time, his explanation of work was clear, quote was very reasonable and the work was completed when they said it would be. Love these guys... would call them again in a heartbeat and recommend without reservation.

I did not have a bad roof, I had two solar panels on my roof that were put on in 1987, they work just fine, but the flashing had gone bad and I couldn't find anyone to fix the problem. I put my problem on Home Adviser and Merrick Contracting contacted me that same day. I was given a great estimate and guarantee for 2 years. The work was done this past Thursday, then we got 2 inches of rain Friday and Saturday. I kept checking to for new stains on my ceiling, but didn't see any. The problem seems to be solved. Very happy with this company and have referred another person with a roof problem to them.

They showed up early in the AM worked efficiently all day. When the roof was completed they cleaned up everything. The next day the company representative showed up and inspected the job. I would hire them again and have already made three recommendations.

I’ve been working with contractors for a long time. Jim(owner) was absolutely fantastic. He didn’t jerk me around on price. He also didn’t try to sell me on stuff I didn’t need to get more money out of me. Merrick is extremely fair with excellent customer service, Oh and they show up early/on time and call you frequently with updates. In addition, quality of work was great; was done in one day with reasonable warranties. I would recommend these guys to anyone including family. I’m happy to support local businesses like these.

Jim and Doug came out to provide an estimate when they said they would be here. inspected the condition of the roof, and provided a very competitive estimate.Doug showed up on time to complete the job and even noticed something else was needed and completed that also. everything done on time and he also cleaned up after the job. Would hire again without a doubt.
