Excellent service!

Scheduled a appointment quickly after initial phone call and showed up early. Made the repairs and gave a written detailed description for a house closing. Highly recommend them and will call them first with any plumbing issues.

They are the best when it comes to exceptional customer service. They do what they say they will do. I called them on Monday Memorial Day Holiday. I spoke with Kristen who was very friendly and showed genuine concern for my situation. She advised me that Chris would arrive within 2 hours and he did, just as Kristen said he would. He diagnosed the problem. He let me know I needed a new air conditioning unit. He got to work right away ripping out the old unit. Chris worked diligently for 2-3 hours. He let me know he would return the next day to put a new unit in which he did, all in less than 3 hours. I was able to go to work when he left. In addition to this Chris called me personally the following day to find out if my air conditioning unit was working properly. I was completely blown away by the service that I had received. It doesn't get better than this. Chris was professional, knowledgeable and ensured I knew exactly what I needed. This is what exceptional customer service is all about! WOW!

After having 5 other companies come out to quote our family for a new HVAC system, Chris was BY FAR the most professional, knowledgeable and communicative person we encountered, ensuring our family knew exactly what we needed and what options we had to obtain it. This has been one of the most pleasant experiences, if not THE most, I have ever had with a company. From start to finish, I have felt a genuine concern for the best interest of my family. Chris gave us every second of time that we needed to make sure we had every question answered and knew exactly what we needed for our home. My family and I received top of the line service and a top of the line product at an affordable price. By far the best customer service I have received. My family and I are looking forward to a Summer with our brand new A/C and our first Winter with our new gas furnace. We are looking forward to working with this company again on future projects and would highly recommend them to other families!

Great experience (rare when dealing with contractors) - Rich came to my home and quoted replacing both outside hose bibs. Rich was very professional and explained what he was going to do and why. Showed me that I had cutoff valves for both hose bibs that I did not know existed. Pricing was reasonable and service was top notch. Job completed quickly and neatly. Rich screwed the hose bibs to the brick (as they should be) even thought the ones installed with the house were not. As I told Rich when he departed - nice to know I now have a plumber that I trust that I can call when needed. Would use them again for sure!

Job was done quickly and well.

Plumber showed on time but without part to be replaced. Took ~ 1.5 hours to get back with part and another ~1.5 hours to install it. Total parts came to just under $500. Total bill was just over $1,000. I consider $500 for 1.5 hours of actual work an excessive labor charge. I will not use this contractor nor Home Advisor again.

Rich came out to replace our sludge-filled, overheating, failing old water heater. It was a difficult situation and he took the time and had the patience to do the job right. The fee was under the national average, reasonable. The water heater is located in a closet off the master bath and at first it would not drain. Rich knew just what to do. Took his time to get old one out and did not mess up our house. Cleaned up behind himself and left us with a larger water heater (as requested) and worked out how to fit it into our small location. Replaced all the plumbing to the water heater and now we have a better made, self-cleaning, more efficient electric water heater to provide us with lots of clean hot water.

Rich was professional, efficient and went the extra mile to troubleshoot and fix the problem with my kitchen faucet. Ultimately he had to replace the faucet and did so that day. The new faucet is working perfectly and the customer service was excellent from the moment I placed the call for service. I would highly recommend MerriMac Services.

Chris was as professional as they come, attentive to what I and my husband had to say, understanding of the issues and our need to hire him over the previous company, and honest and straightforward with his assessment and recommendations. Rich was very polite and replaced all the toilet tank parts in my master bathroom and in a very short amount of time. I decided to have him replace the toilet tank parts in the Guest bathroom and roommates bathroom as well. I am very pleased and would definitely call Rich at MerriMac Services in the future. Service personnel was very knowledgeable, gave you options and very polite. After contacting Merrimac Services their was a service rep at my residence within two hours.

The project was top notch. They were the only company who made the effort to troubleshoot the hot water heater problem before making a recommendation's to either repair or replace. They let us know what was going on and were very knowledgeable. They called to let us know when they were coming, showed up as scheduled, finished the project in a timely manner, and the final project turned out great! I highly recommend, and will definitely use them again.

Chris from Merrimac did an amazing job in my project. He gave me an overview of how my heating system worked, then he diagnosed the problem, and he stayed to ensure it was working properly after he completed the work. Afterwards, he contacted my home warranty company twice to speak with the technical department to help process my reimbursement. Chris went above and beyond his duties to provide me with outstanding services. I will definitely be contacting Merrimac Services for all of my HVAC needs even without my home warranty.
