Leon shirked his duties as the GC. Later we found out he was fraudulently reporting costs in his cost plus agreement charging us 50% more for his costs before even computing his nearly 20% markup. He is manipulative, dishonest, and apparently unaware of home cameras when making misogynistic comments about his customers and the designers.

We hired him to build a garage for us. He (almost) completed the work pretty close to schedule. Problem came when the inspector called out a few items that need to be corrected before final sign-off. It was early winter, and Leon said he could do a "half-***ed" job right away in order to get final sign-off, or if we could wait until spring he could do a better job. We said we would wait. Spring has come and gone, and efforts to get Leon to come back out and compete the work have failed. If we could get him to complete the job we would probaby give him a higher rating.

The quality of work was excellent. The work was not cheap, but the price was fair for what we got. We had an issue with an exterior hose bib freezing up and flooding our basement, that was related to them using it during very cold weather. This could have happened to any contractor.
