Mess Rescue

Unfortunately I was a victim of domestic violence which lead to a diagnosis of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) I was a single mom with 3 boys 8,7,4 when i left my marriage. I had to move all my belongings from the house I owned to a rental house, within 3 years i had to move again to another rental home. I finally moved to the home I?m in now and luckily I have stayed put for over 10 years. Due to my disability we had many people through out the years stay here in hopes they would actually help get my house organized, a friend i knew for years, a friend that was to be paid to be my home health aide, and my brother in law, So you can imaging the amount of stuff i had acquired. I had rooms filled with everyone?s clothes, and paperwork. At the same time my parents were moving from a 3500 sqft house to a house 1/3 that size. a home that we lived in for over 45 years and my mothers house was full of antiques and valuables so not only did i still have all my stuff, everyone else?s stuff, I also had my mothers stuff, including a Vermont blue stone fireplace that weighs a ton i had to move from house to house. My three boys were/are pigs! There is no other way to put it. I love them to death, but they are just gross. They have no manners and think nothing about dropping garbage on the floor! The use the walls as napkins, They leave everything anywhere, they just pile up clothes in a corner, disgusting dishes left in their rooms, and I actually had one that would put the dirty dishes back in the kitchen cabinets and tell me everything was clean. Now I?m down to only having my youngest living here who is 17. Two dumpsters, and thousands of trips to the dump, I?m still busting out at the seems and cant seem to ever catch up, no matter how hard i tried. I actually still have things in boxes from my original home. Desperate times calls for desperate measures, and I finally decided to ventured out and research what it would take to get my entire house organized and cleaned for the first time in 25 years without me having to worry about a thing. I have a problem with starting project but never finishing anything. After hours of research I found Jess, from Mess Rescue and immediately felt like my life was about to change in a way i could never imagine. She was non judgmental, comforting, and professional! What a breath of fresh air, someone who understands, who is kind, and will go out of her way to help me with my need to organize things in a way i can find them because my short term memory has been affected by my disability. Her work ethics are old school, something you don?t see too often anymore. (That is a huge compliment for those of you who might misunderstand where I?m coming from) She has been here a couple of times already and I have her scheduled to come once a week till everything is complete and then once a month to maintain everything. I?m extremely happy with my decision to hire Jess, she is a very reliable and continues to amaze me with her hard work and beautiful results. Thank you Jess for changing my life!

I hired Jess through her reputation of being highly organized and friendly. I left her a room that had wound up becoming a receptacle for all the flotsam and jetsam of my life from food and cooking items, china that is rarely used, vases, Costco sized paper goods, books, items for home projects as yet to occur, memorabilia, seasonal items, things for when guests stay over, small appliances. A REAL MISH MOSH. I left Jess my key when I went away during which she sent me photos of a well merchandised store. IT WAS MY NEWLY ORGANIZED STOREROOM!!! Now that I'm back I must admit that sometimes I go to just stand in the room to bask in its glory. It's that pretty. I can find everything in a glance and I'm not humiliated if someone goes in there. I will definitely have Jess back to tackle the abyss I call my "front closet" and my storage area for my art supplies. So, to sum up. trustworthy, professional, an eye for organization I could never imagine, reasonably priced, fast, a pleasure to deal with, no nonsense, capable, a problem solver. I'm sure i'm leaving something out but this is money well spent.
