Metal Roofing Installation and Replacement
October 12, 2022: Personal Check was written for $5,840.00 per contract to secure services from Metal Worx LLC to provide a new metal roof for my residence. October 13, 2022: Personal Check for $5,840.00 was cashed by Metal Worx LLC. October 12, 2022 to present date: The aforementioned roofing services nor materials, have been provided in any form or fashion to date. Over the course of two and a half years and still counting, Metal Worx LLC has failed to deliver per contract, never providing materials or services as stated. Communication has gone on at various junctures over the course of two and a half years and still ongoing, via text messages and phone calls. I made numerous inquiry calls and text messages to Wendell at Metal Worx LLC regarding the scheduling date of my roof replacement. After each inquiry, I was given excuses and constant delays that have been repetitive since October 13, 2022. November 2024: Pursued refund - more song & dance

Wendell came out last year (08/11/2021) to provide a quote for that. He said three weeks the first time. I signed the contract on August 19, 2021, and I gave Wendell the $4,477.80 deposit on August 21, 2021. At that time (via email), he provided a timeline of 3-6 weeks till installation. Three weeks later, I reached out to him due to the lack of progress. He replied via email and stated that they would be installed in early November via email instead. I then reached out again on 10/25/2021 (due to no communication) and requested another update. At that time, he stopped communicating by email but would occasionally reply via text. The next reply was 12/21/2021 (text) and he said we were very close. My follow-ups on January 24, 2022, and March 1, 2022, received no response. I followed up on 04/29/2022 (text) and at that time he stated we were 10-14 days out. I followed up again. We were still on track at the time. I followed up again on 05/13/2022 and 05/17/2022 (1 day after the 10-day and 1 day after the 15-day estimate) and got no reply. I followed up again on 05/21/2022, and he said he would tell us when he would install it on 05/23/2022. I received no response, so I followed up again on 05/24/2022, 05/26/2022, and 05/27/2022. 05/27/2022 (text) He said they are now running 14 21 days behind. It has been 9 months since they took my deposit and it has been very difficult to get any communication from Metal Worx or Wendell. They now want to simply drop out. The material is off in my yard, and this is seriously NOT OK.

We had a lot of rain this pass year and Wendal did everything he could to it. People please just be patient. He is a 5 â ï¸ I Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.. Thanks again. Iâ ll have my gutters done next.

We had to wait a little bit due to weather and Covid-19 protocols, but it was well worth the wait. The crew were knowledgeable, and hard-working and the roof looks absolutely fantastic. They also did a good job cleaning up after the installation. I would definitely recommend Metal Worx if you are looking for a metal roof.

"we was hired to do a job and we showed up earlier then scheduled to do the job. when the job was done he said he loved the work and paid us without hesitation. this is all over the fact that there was some old boards that came out of the repair we did he said he would like those put in a low spot on his farm, in which was extremely wet because it was just after the floods we had and he got flooded as well. so I told him we would come back in our truck and do that when it dried up. and it just did this week and I communicated that to him. So that doesn't constitute me being called untrustworthy, and has nothing to do with the quality of work"

"ln response to the last review I would like to make some clarification. This was not a metal roof install whatsoever had nothing to do with roofing. He had put that on HomeAdvisor in my opinion to get people to respond to him in which we did and he told us he couldn't even get anyone to come out to do a repair. Turned out it was only a chimney cap install and he had two pieces of fascia metal damaged. In which we are not listed under repairs but after talking to the gentleman we agreed to forego his repairs we quoted him a price he accepted the next day. Due to the height of his chimney which was near 40 feet we had to rent a man lift and he"

Wendell is the front man though his name is not on the business filing with the State of KY. He is untrustworthy. Do not give him any money upfront regardless of what he tells you. I ended up losing over $2000 to him by agreeing to accept part of my deposit back just so I did not lose all the money he still held. He never did one bit of work on my roof, I was able to get him to deliver about $2000 worth of material to my property out of the $7200 check I gave him for a deposit. I settled for A $2000 check just to be done with him and hired a different company to actually put my roof on. They did need more material than Wendel had ordered as well.

"I would like to start out by saying that what Michael is saying goes against every review that we've had with HA to the Better Business Bureau. and is peppered with untruthful statements. even though 2020 was our 4th wettest season on record, and even though he was informed of all 3 quarantines that our company has endured which resulted in over 30 days of shut down, which I was forced to do to comply. he said he simply didn't care. If you want the job done timely, do not hire this company. If you want communication, do not hire this company. Hired to build two covered decks, install a metal roof and gutters. It took them ten months to complete the job. They will blame COVID and no wood, but their carpenter told me he was building a deck at their house instead of building ours. The main reason they were hired was for the lifetime warranty on materials and labor. Six months after installation the gutters started leaking. I have been trying to get them to come fix them for over 6 months. They are always too busy, working too far away, or shorthanded. There i;s always an excuse. Stay far away from this contractor.

"Sorry that your not happy, but your failure to mention that we told you upfront we were 6 to 8 working weeks out with perfect weather. That would have put the start date of June the 5th with zero rain. That did not happen since we had 21 working days lost during that period, that you have to add back in. You are also failing to mention the entire country shut down for 3 months during that time period. We did not shut our doors, but our work was drastically slowed down. and you are failing to mention when we were ready to do your house in July we contacted you and told you about the wood shortage that was everywhere due to the shutdown and you."

There were some unavoidable delays getting the job started because....2020. But Mattie stayed in contact and once the roofers arrived, it was worth the wait. We appreciated their precision, teamwork, and careful attention to detail. We saw them work in intense heat and under the threat of oncoming storms as essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis and I heard no complaints nor observed any loss of focus. Wendall and Mitch and Mattie are great communicators. There were no accidents -- the work was carefully directed and everything measured and installed properly the first time. The new roof is solid, sounds and looks great and I'm sure substantially increases the value of my property. I never knew gutters could beautify a home, but mine now not only function perfectly, but actually work to define and trim the structure. The crew seemed liked experienced craftsmen who took pride in their improvements to my once-ordinary house. Awesome company.

Metal Works owner and his employees were very helpful and professional during the whole process very considerate of our needs at all times from the quote to the finished product. Looked so good our neighbor decided to use them for their roof. If you are having a metal roof installed I would strongly recommend you get these guys to quote it they were superb in everything even the cleanup of the old shingles. Price was competitive

Standing seam metal roof looks great. Metal Worx was on site when scheduled and the synthetic felt installed within a day of accepting the contract to protect the wood sheeting from approaching rain. We had an issue with the silicone boot for a stove pipe penetration, but this was promptly fixed. Good housekeeping and Job site was left clean upon completion. Good price, great job, and I would hire them again.

This company has been very responsive and able to complete the work required. We have a metal roof and it wasn t installed properly. He came out and within the week to look at the job. The price was very reasonable. The work has been so good that my father in law has hired him to put on a new metal roof. I would highly recommend this company.
