Sod Installation
Steve has his way of doing things and doesn't really listen to the customer. In our contract it speciifically said top soil to be used. He has his crew just turned over the clay and laid in the sod. He started a day late and the debris was never picked up and hauled away as promised.

Sod Installation
I ordered the sod and had the material delivered. Steve was on-site with his crew at the scheduled delivery time, installed the sod in one day and cleaned up his tools and materials the following morning. Steve presented me with a detailed proposal of his scope of work which I signed and he performed the scope well.

Water Dock - Build
Competent carpentry, but poor integrity. Failed to finish project as contracted; but the big problem is charging me for a vendor's part, then not paying the vendor, with the vendor hounding me.

"UPS was supposed to hold a package so I could pick it up & pay for it. UPS delivered the package & then tried to collect payment from the home owner for the product. This issue has since been resolved."

Sod Installation
Not a great outcome. Had contractor install sod. The lawn was not prepped for new grass and thus died in the areas that they put sod on top of thatch. Most of the grass eventually died despite a ton of watering. Didn't show up on time.

"Customer looked over the job site, approved prep work & grading before sod was installed. Customer watered the new sod & damaged the installation by walking on it."

I would not use this contactor again, complained far too much and never finished the job, I will have to have it finished myself.

This company is a NIGHTMARE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Never pay them in advance for any reason. Mr. Smith will not take my phone calls. Promised to do work in a week and is not even half done after 4 weeks. This was a simple concrete patio. RUN!!! CAUTION!!!

"Customer took over 1 week to pay the deposit needed to start the project. He insisted that we lay sod down in high temperatures which wasn't recommended, & the customer scheduled a construction job at the same time so installation was difficult & the product was damaged by roofing workers."

The contractor you connected me with did an excellent job. The end price was a little higher than the original contract amount but a little extra work was conducted. I am extremely pleased with the end result. I would recommend Metro Landscaping
