the tech showed up without a household ladder and no flashlight he said we may need a new fan belt but never changed it also said r fan looked like it was in balance but never checked he did find a loose pully an tightened it

Dave with Metro Mechanical Services, Inc was punctual, friendly and professional. He fixed the water heater, explained the solution and gave me great advice concerning future maintanance. The next time I have a plumbing problem I'll definitely call Dave with Metro Mechanical.

Water Heater - Repair or Service
We hired them through Lowes to install a new Water heater. The technician was very friendly. The company sent one person to do the job. He put a gash in my wall when carrying out the water heater but never said anything about it. When Lowes called back to ask what I thought, I told them about the gash. There was no offer to fix it. A week later my furnace went out (same location) They chared us $175 to reset a switch (after hours call). Im out the time and money to fix the gash in my wall and...$175 for a problem I believe they created - blew out the pilot while working on my water heater.

"Thank you for your comments. I would like to respond to this customers concern about the "gash" in their wall. I am not sure who you are but would like to assure you that we would be happy to repair your wall if it is damage we may have accidentally caused. I also don't think we "blew out" the pilot light on the furnace. I say that because if the pilot light was out on your furnace in the middle of winter you would have known in a few hours not a week later. I would never want a dissatisfied customer so if you would contact our office, we would very much like to do whatever it takes to gain your complete satisfaction."

This is the second time service magic has matched me up with Metro Mechanical Services, once to replace my furnace and again to fix my shower drain. Both times they arrived when promised, explained the problems, and advised me of cost before the repair was done. All the work was completed at a price lower than I would have expected and the projects were completed without any further issues. I will use them again if anything comes up in the future.

The man was very nice and took the time to explain the new thermostat. He even programed it specifically according to when I wanted the air cooler and warmer on specific days and times. He made it to my house timely as well. They were just a tad bit expensive but worth it as they came at 10:00 at night and traveled 45 min away.

Contacted me right away, service the next day. Mike was an exceptional technician, he really did a great service to our Trane system and identified and corrected a lot of small issues to make my AC and furnace last longer. Professional service, reasonable costs, and what I loved most is the maintenance programs you can buy to keep up on the maintenance of the AC and furnace at a very reasonable rate. I will definitely use them again, very fast response, professional and friendly.

This is the 1st time as a new homeowner that I've had work done on the heat/AC. The gentleman came to my home & was thorough, polite & professional. I was put off that I had to pay $99 to have him look at my A/C & tell me what's wrong with it when it was my understanding the estimate was free. He notated that if any work were to be done, the $99 would be included in the final price. They gave me an estimate on the work that needed to be done and in researching, it sounds about right. I did call around and learned that paying $99 for a consultation is not recommended. Usually you only pay that fee if you actually have the work done.

What most homeowners fail to understand is the expense involved in bringing a qualified, licensed, insured technician with the necessary tools that cost in the thousands of dollars to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem not only quickly but accurately. I don't think that anyone would expect to see a doctor, lawyer, dentist, or any other professional, have them run test and give you a diagnosis all for free. And this is done at their office. We offer a valuable service that is accurately priced and delivered with honesty and integrity. After all we service peoples needs. AC's don't care if they run."

Gas Piping
Took time out of middle of day to get supplies and lunch, gone more than 2 hours. Left debris and a tarp behind for us to clean up. I need to call to schedule the final hook-up of gas stove when counter top is in place. The actual work is well done.

These should have never been left behind for you to clean up and for that I apologize. I have taken this very seriously and included it into our weekly technician meeting and discussion. No for sure that I use every negative comment as a way to make this company better. We do try to carry plenty of stock on our service vehicles, but inevitably there are times that we do not have a specific part and a trip to a parts house is necessary. Thanks, Pat Lee"
