Hired this company to do a move from Quebec to Alberta. Started to get a bad feeling after we paid our deposit and never heard from him again. His name is Mark. He never had any intention on starting the move. Won?t get back our deposit. He provides a very low quote. started to look into it and realized that he had ripped off many other people moved their items, giving them a week to arrive at the other end where sometimes didn?t arrive for two months and their goods were broken and smashed when They arrived on the other end. He then wouldn?t return their phone call so that they could put in an insurance claim and laughed in their faces. I personally spoke to three people that this happened to in the last three months. He should not be in business as he thinks it?s funny and clearly just goes ahead, trying to scam people for nothing and wasting time and money.

Pro cancelled on me 3 times in a two week period. I found this to be unprofessional and poor service.

Very pleasant experience. I would give 10+ stars if I could. Tom & crew are a well oiled machine. Affordable, Friendly, diligent, & extremely careful with your belongings....The levels they go to protect your belongings & most valuable possessions is beyond impressive!! I cannot say enough good things about this company after dealing with other nightmare movers. Absolutely would use again, & Recommend to ANY/EVERYONE looking to move. Do yourself a favor, and call Metro Moving.

Tom was very nice and detailed about all expenses during estimate. There were no hidden cost. All his men were very polite and kind. They handled all our stuff very carefully and nicely.! The move was done in the decided time without any undue and unnecessary delays!! Definitely recommend them!

Extremely professional, prompt, respectful and helpful.Cannot praise Tom and his crew enough! They were extremely careful with all of my belongings.Nobody likes the moving experience but Tom /men put me at ease, they were patient, friendly and just an absolute pleasure to have taking care of my move

Definitely a great hire to do the job. Overall a great job performed by Metro. Tom the owner was knowledgeable, courteous, and took care with items. His two helpers were also very good, though not totally as careful with items as Tom. I had a couple of small minor hiccups with the furniture handled by the helpers. However, I would definitely hire again, and it was great value for the money spent. On my move, we scheduled a 2 PM pickup, and they worked diligently till 10 PM at night, to ensure we were completely satisfied with the work! I had one large piece which Tom the owner, eyeballed the piece and said no way it would go upstairs without damaging the walls. He didn't want to chance it, and the next day, based on actual measurement of things, Tom had made the correct call with just a visual. That was his 30 years of experience at work!

Tom was extremely professional and friendly from start to finish. Overall, it s just a very well run operation and they definitely do a nice job handling your belongings, and take the stress out of what is usually a difficult experience

Very professional yet friendly! They were very efficient! This was the second time we used their services and would use them again! Tom Boyd is great and so is his crew.

When Tom Boyd set the appointment for the estimate he was right on time, evaluated the move very quickly and gave me a estimate which was less than others. We tentatively set a move date and he kept me updated on his schedule. The move was very fast and all four men worked hard especially Tom the owner setting the pace. They all were very conscious of the merchandise they were moving. We were moving into a storage are and they packed it very well, and if we were moving into another home I am sure that Tom and his crew would take the same precautions. I will be hiring Metro in the future as I told them when we locate a new home. Thanks Metro

The three gentleman were on time and very conscientious during the move. They were careful in moving my items and were very careful with the hardwood floors I had in my new home. They were very polite ad were sure to ask me where I wanted everything. Also, they were open to suggestions. I would definitely use them again.

They are very professional, careful and very hard working. This is important when you are paying by the hour. Their rate was lower than the other two I considered and the owner, Tom Boyd, responded quickly to my email request for an estimate. I highly recommend them to anyone needing quality movers at a very competitive price.
