I am meeting with Steve Tilman this afternoon and he is starting the project tomorrow. The delay is due to the fact that we are not closing on the house until noon tomorrow. I will complete the rating when the job is finished. Thank you!

Super crew of painters & Steve Tilman is wonderful to work with during the experience. Only real difficulties involved their carpenter that made repairs.

There were delays that lasted too long. When the work was done it was done very well. They worked hard to insure that the customer was satisfied.

I decided to hire Metro Painting because they seemed like a large professional outfit. Overall the quality of the paint job is good, however there were several issues that pulled down my overall rating of Metro Painting. The intial team of workmen who started the job were very poor, they were often tardy to work, they left lunch wrappers in the work area, they made a mess of the back yard while washing out their cleaning supplies, they broke a fan blade on our ceiling fan, they got paint drips on the carpet, and they did not use the lavatory properly. The reason for this slopiness in my opinion was the workmen did not have enough direct supervision from their team leader. The next major issue was we wanted one of the rooms painted red. It appears red is a really difficult color to work with and requires special handling. However we were not informed of this and purchased incorrect primer and paint type. Because of this error it took a different team of workmen and 10 days to complete the job. To Metro Paintings credit Mr. Tilman worked hard to resolve all of the issues to our satisfaction, he replaced the fan blade, had the carpet cleaned, and refunded us several gallons of paint. Again I would say the quality of the paint job is good and I would have rated Metro painting much higher had we not had the issues described above.

Barring the issue with the faucet breakage, everything looks great. Metro was quick to repair / fix any problems that were encountered including the faucet and I would recommend them to others.
