Sod Installation
Kenneth was aggressive in determining the needs of my lawn project. His suggestion for sod choice in my backyard was right in line with the research I had done before seeking a quote. He and his crew were able to move very quickly in installing my new backyard once I signed the service contract and had the work done in less than a day. I was not at home to supervise the project and I had to do some minor corrections to uncover some drainage rock that had been sodded over. No big deal. Overall I continue to be happy with the look of my newly sodded back yard while I water it thoroughly each day. It's growing in nicely!

"This customer was very satisfied with the work we completed and had a close friend stop by 3 weeks after the work was completed and didnt like the color of the stone we used, so he stated he was embarresed. This customer never complained about our work until 1 neighbor pointed out something he didnt like.. Not fair to our business, we have had great reviews and do completed satisfying work."

Kenneth, I was very pleased with the work, you were prompt, proffesional, and flexible with your time. You provided your service as promised and had reasonable pricing. The only issue I had was the mistake with the neighbors lawn and having to do thier area before they were ready and in-turn costing me a $175.00 for the msiatke...at no fault of mine, as iIt would have been unfair for them to pay for a service the didn'at ask for. I do appreciate you covering a portion of the cost, as as I know that is out of your pocket too. I will definitely recommned you to my neighbors, friends, and co-works, and hopefully you will get some more work out of that too. Please let me know when you think you will be able to come back by with the sod roller and look to get the corners of the sod sections to lay flat. DO NOT HIRE METRO TURF TO DO SOD INSTALLATIONS. Amateur and Unprofessional. They did not level our lawn prior to laying the sod so when complete the yard was very lumpy. Bed lines were poorly cut and some areas were missed. Sod scraps were dumped on my property without permission. They fixed the edges and unsodded areas but refused to fix the lumps (he tried rolling but it did nothing - needed to be removed and re-installed). Three days after I removed the sod, leveled the area and re-installed myself. Luckily we only paid half upfront. Needless to say we did not pay the rest.

"This issue was clearly fixable with ease. The customer was not aware of new sod installation having to be watered daily. Allowing the dirt to settle before the sod would root and since it was freshly tilled it was soft.. The bed lines were fixed to customers specifications. The sod was rolled only to ensure contact with the soil, it was not intended to fix any problems.. The customer refused to pay and has had other issues with contractors in the past that we found out about.. Metro Turf Industries went through every option to please the customer.. The sod was installed properly."

METRO TURF INDUSTRIES CAME OUT THE VERY SAME DAY I CALLED. THEY LOOKED AT MY LAWN BOTH FRONT AND BACK AND WAS ABLE TO COMPELTE THE PROJECT THE SAME DAY. THEY WERE VERY QUICK AND GOOD. I TIP MY HAT OFF TO METRO TURF INDUSTIRES. THE PRICE WAS AMAZING. I AM PLANNING ON FURTHER PROJECTS WITH METRO TURF INDUSTRIES. JOB WELL DONE, EXCELLENT AND FAST.

Yes I did hire this Landscaper. He did an awful job. He was supposed to put annual flowers which he didn't do. He didn't do all the work he quoted me and all of the flowers he planted died in 2 weeks. Not to mention he rescheduled the 1st appointment without confirming with me, I had to call him. I would never use this guy again!

"The annual flowers were planted. After planting, the customer asked for more flowers. We only charged her for the original amount. The flowers planted were advised to be watered daily for 2 weeks in order to ensure root growth. I contacted this customer to try and make sure everything was alright after the job and she seemed happy about the work. I always try to check up on my project after completion. I have since tried to contact this customer to check on the landscaping done and there was no answer."

I requested landscaping and it was done. I would have liked it better if I could have actually seen the plants first before the job was done. I requested it; but for some reason the plants were ordered from some other source and was not at the site. I think if I could have had more of an opportunity to physically select my own plants, I would have been more satisfied. The area around my mail box was not done as agreed due to serveral large stones in the way that was under the area intended for the junipers and the lorapetlum to be planted. I have since added another lorapetlum around the mail box and 3 more junipers in my flower bed.
