Really great company to work with. I called and left a message; they called back and set up an appointment as soon as I needed it. Curtis was very professional and extremely polite. He had to match a color I wanted. I LOVE my awnings! Really sets my house apart!

They installed a motorized retractable awing over my deck. Wish I would have bought one they make instead of the one from overstock. It wasn't their's and they did an outstanding job of installing and making sure everything worked. Looking at them to install a fixed awning on my back deck in the future.

We hired Metroplex Awning for replacing our 20-yr old awning. Curtis gave us 3 options including reusing old frame (to save money), new awning and larger structure that would wrap around the corner of the house. He was very up front about pros and cons of each and how he would go about approaching each solution also giving us plenty of information about material choices for both frame and canvas. At the end we decided on the larger structure and I am glad we did. It came out very nice giving us more choices for outdoor living space. Curtis was receptive to couple of special requests we have made for the awning and was able to incorporate them at very reasonable cost. We had slight delay in scheduling installation day due to amount of work Curtis and Joe had at the time which tells me they stay very busy. During installation it was discovered that one of the supporting arms was in incorrect spot. Joe quickly identified the problem and came back next day with adjusted frame. He and the crew were very careful around the house and windows + very detail oriented when it comes to every part they installed. Overall they did fantastic job addressing all the concerns / questions we had in very professional manner. I think their pricing was in the middle of the road comparing to couple other bids we got. Main selling points for us (apart from the fair price) were customer focus and straight talk from both Curtis and Joe. Thank you!

I have a phone service that will change my number without much of a heads up. We paid the initial deposit by check but now the company told me that I have to pay the completion remainder with cash or a money order because my number brought up "red flags" for them. I don't appreciate the discrimination when I could have just simply explained this to them. I tried to and they just wouldn't budge on the issue. Curtis is the owner and I've been working with him through this. He told me that because I can't text message then they're just going to return my money and have me go find someone else. It's just frustrating that they can't listen to some reasoning.

To be clear, I did ask you for your final payment on the project, to be paid in cash or money order, even though we did accept a check as an initial deposit, before work began. I will take the information you provided this morning, and learn how to better handle an issue like this, better in the future. I hope you find a company that can meet your needs. I understand we will not be able to make everyone happy, but we do strive to do so. We do work hard to ensure our customers are provided a 4-5 star experience, obviously in this case we did not. "Lyn, I am very confused? Please contact me at the office, 817-550-8060, at your convenience. We came out on 3/15, and I (Curtis) spent over 1-1/2 hours with you and your husband (while my wife sat in the truck). We discussed 2 different options, regarding replacing your existing back porch cover. I gave you pricing, during that visit, and told you I would submit our proposal via email. I sent an email to you on 3/20, along with renderings of our proposal. I have not heard back from you, regarding questions and/or the approval to proceed with the project. Then we received this unfavorable review, on 4/09. I understand we will not be able to make everyone happy, but we do strive to do so. Again, I am very confused on why this review is posted, and would certainly like the opportunity to provide the 4-5 star rating, that all other clients have been provided. Called 5 other contractors and ended up getting a total of 3 quotes ( 3 said it couldn t be done ). Other 2 quotes were within 10% of Metro s price but they were canvas awnings - not the solid construction with guts Metroplex did. Very very happy with their work

The quality of the wirkers & there work ethic is wonderful ! You will not be disappointed. The only issue we had was we had a " pre evaluate" visit from 1 of the owners on our bid. He offered a price that was responsible considering the size of the awning we had purchased, on our own. so we agreed to the bid, took 2 visits w/ weather etc. Prior to the final visit, he " ammended" his bid due to " unforseen issues"? That irritated us to no end. when you offer a bid you honor it, come what may. But we paid the additional fee to get the job finished. The workmen did an AMAZING JOB! DEFINITELY top shelf !
