Meyer & Depew Heating and Cooling

Meyer & Depew charged my husband $1,700 per unit?$3,400 total?to reroute approximately five feet of furnace B-vent through the roof of each unit in our duplex. Roof repair was not included. The estimate allowed two hours of work per unit, and the work took less time. Based on the materials listed for each unit, I estimate these retail prices per unit: * 5-foot B-vent section: $32?$60 * Vent cap: $20?$35 * Storm collar: $8?$15 * 1-foot vent section: $10?$20 * Adjustable 1-foot section: $15?$25 * 6-inch vent section: $8?$15 * Three 90° elbows: $79?$105 * Furnace-to-B-vent adapter: $13?$25 That?s approximately $185?$275 in materials per unit, or $370?$550 total. These are my estimates at the time of this review, not Meyer & Depew?s actual material costs. When I asked for an itemized invoice, I was told they price by the job and do not bill by time and materials. My concern is the $3,400 price for this scope of work. I find it exorbitant. Christian is incredibly thorough and knows his stuff! I met with multiple hvac companies before finding someone I trusted. So glad I found him!

I’ve been working with Meyer & Depew for some time now. I consider them to be a real partner with the commercial and residential side of the business. They have gone above and beyond on numerous occasions. Thanks to you Bobby, and the entire time for being a group I can count on.

Jon was great, very thorough review of our heating and AC units. Laid out our options for review. High recommend!

Christian was very knowledgeable and able to fix our issue. Our thermostat was not working and he replaced it.

Christian B serviced my a/c. He was very pleasant and thorough. Reviewed and explained everything he did. I will ask for him whenever my a/c needs servicing.
