I contacted Miami Security Systems (MSS) and put down a deposit for two new cameras and a new NVR. They simply could not get the new NVR and cameras to work with the existing cameras, but in order to reach this conclusion twelve (12) hours of my time went down the drain. In recognition of their own inability/incompetence to install the new system promised me a full refund but never took any action to that effect until I called the credit card company. Now they are attempting to charge twice what was quoted for running two camera wires. This not to mention the fact that their **technician** admitted to not being a licensed professional because he does not speak enough English to take the licensing exam.

I do not recommend this company to anyone!!! They have horrible and disrespectful customer service from their receptionist part owner Rita. They also charged for a job that was never completed and did not want to follow through properly with a refund leaving unfinished work and holes on my walls. Unfortunately, I will have to submit a complaint to the better business bureau and request a refund from my credit card company since they do not want to refund my money back. After reading some reviews apparently, they are known for poor customer service and quality service. They failed to attend to appointments and never called the customer to advise when would they reschedule. I had to constantly be behind them and they would not answer their phones and after getting a hold of them they would rudely disrespect and hang the phone up on me. The owner Mike even threatened to block my calls and emails because they did not want to be responsible. They are thieves!!

We are licensed contractors for over 30+ years and we treat all our customers with the respect they deserve. We quoted out a job to install cameras at the residence that did not have any attic space which is why in order to ensure a professional clean install we had to drill some holes to pass the cables and then ultimately patch them up once the job was completed.
