Mr. Warker responded quickly to our call for service, provided a detailed account of what would be done, materials needed, and arrived promptly the next day to complete the work. His tiling work was excellent, and he answered all questions and responded in a professional manner to all of our questions and requests.

Contractor finished work was good, tile and grout look great; however sloppy! There was caulk where there should not be, cleaning product splattered on my appliances and walls. The floors had to be dry mopped and I had a lot of cleaning to do after he left.

We were not happy with the outcome of the service performed. Did not do the job that Mike said he would do. He was not prepared and very sloppy. We just want him to return our call or text to rectify this problem. He cleaned the tile as stated but did not clean, remove or re-grout the moldy, broken and damaged grout. The sealer he used was a liquid he rubbed on with a rag. Mike fixed one tile on the floor but did not have grout so he used caulk instead. It does not match and the tile is crooked. He also cleaned. He cleaned the floor tiles, however, that was not something we asked him to do when I asked him he said he is here and to make it a full day he will include it. I feel he did that because he would not be able to justify charging us ( we paid cash) for only cleaning the tile since he was done with that in less than an hour. My house was a mess when he left. He did not take off his shoes and while working in the shower his shoes got wet and proceeded to walk making blacking tracks on my floors and carpet . The caulking that was done was messy, no different than if I were to do it myself. I would not be writing this review if he chose to return our calls .

"Mike J Warker Ceramic Tile prides ourselves in our work and our excellence in customer service. I drove an hour and a half to get to the homeowner's residence. Arrived at the home at 9am. The bathroom was discolored due to iron in the water. There was black mold on grout. Regrouting in the shower was not an option as the grout would fall apart. This project included a free estimate and no charge for travel. Due to the bad condition of the bathroom I had to make cleaning solution twice to cut out the black mold. I was at the property for 4 1/2 hours on the job. I did an extra bathroom and did not charge anything extra. The condition of the tile was bad. I took off my shoes and cleaned them and did not walk on her carpet. I brought off-white caulking per instructions from the homeowner's husband. The wife watched while I worked as well. They only had 1 tile to replace the 1 broken one. I reset it for them as well. I cleaned the iron-stained and black mold as best as could be done. I cleaned twice as it was in such bad condition. The homeowner paid me when I was done and had no complaint. I let the homeowner know that in the future, they may have issues with their tile as it is uneven underneath and needs to be addressed. Had the homeowner had a complaint when I was paid, we could have addressed the issue prior to me leaving the property. I was contacted an hour later with a demand to refund all the money from the job. Then he changed his mind I could keep $100. Everything that was quoted was done along with extra work at no charge. I offered to go back and address any issues and was refused. All they want is the money. I am a man of my word and would come back, and after I refused to refund they put this review on HomeAdvisor. I have been doing this for 35 years and I treasure my reputation and my relationship with my customers."

Mike came on time, the sample cleaning area was a good idea and he sold me on the spot, as well as did the job that day. There were a some areas that required follow-up and he was diligent in his effort to come back and get them done. He is a good guy and I would hire him again.

I previously gave Michael J Warker a very positive review for cleaning my grout and tile over a month ago. I was very impressed with the quality of his work and asked him for a price for my bathroom remodel job that I was going to do. Mike took the measurements of my bathroom and gave me samples to choose from. Once I made my selections, he kept pestering me for a decision. I told him that I needed to get other prices before making up my mind. He said that he would give his family discount that he was getting from the tile store to someone else but he wanted to wait for me to make up my mind. When I received a few prices from other installers, his price was the lowest so I gave him the job. He immediately told me that he needed payment for the materials upfront so he can order them. He gave me an invoice which separated the materials and the labor. I gave him the $1,800 check on 11/13/18 and he immediately went to the bank and cashed it. Weeks later, the carpenter was unable to do any further work in my bathroom until the tile was installed. When Mike was contacted he had one excuse after another of why he couldn't get to my house, the last one had to do with not being able to leave his mother who was ill. I finally told him that I just wanted my tile and I would get someone else to install it. After contacting the tile store, I found out that he never paid for the tile although it was ordered and waiting for pick up. After I told him that he needed to pay the tile store with the money that I ALREADY PAID HIM, he said he didn't have the money and that he was waiting for a check. Before the tile store would deliver the tile, I needed to pay the balance. I had to pay the tile store for the tile that I already paid him! I am out $1800.00. I asked him before paying the store if he had the money for the tile and he said he didn't. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN, he will take your money to settle his debts instead of doing what you thought you trusted him to do. Be warned and stay away from him.

"Sadly after entering into an agreement Mrs. Cavallaro. I was unable to start job as planned. Obviously she was upset to rather delay any further. Made sure she got back her deposit so she could pay for here job. She has since move with a different contractor that could do her job faster. This was all settle on Christmas eve 2018. I wish her the best of luck moving forward with her bathroom."

He was very diligent in getting to my house to show how he could clean my tile and grout. It's a 30 year floor that really needed cleaning. I was pleased with the small sample area and hired him the same day. Some of the areas did not come up as clean so he came back the next day to redo those areas. He was very responsive. I would hire him again.
