I'll never do business with this company again. They charged me $850 for a board another company was only going to charge $250 for. They charge $235 for capacitor you can buy for $30 on line and $445 dollars for a defrost thermostat you can buy on line for under $30.

When initially contacting this company, I left a message after hours and immediately got a return call to schedule my service within the week. The plumber who came was very thorough, professional, and explained everything. He even told me how to fix one of my minor plumbing issues myself that turned out to be pretty simple without spending the money for him to do it. I would highly recommend this company.

Kind of expensive for the work done.

The team that came to do the work were very professional and knowledgeable. They installed a new faucet in my kitchen sink which required emptying the cabinet. I offered to do that but they insisted and then put it all back. They cleaned up and took all the trash with them.

I would like to share my experience with dealing with Michael and Son Services located at 4001 Atlantic Avenue in Raleigh, NC,27604 My Name is Roger Broyles and my wife, and I reside in Winston Ridge in Youngsville, NC. A LED bulb had stopped working in the kitchen which is about an 8-foot ceiling. The three remaining bulbs were fine. I asked my wife if she could find somebody on Home Advisor come to replace the bulb. She came up with Michael and Son and said they can come to the house on 4/27/21. It so happened that day I was at UNC REX for an infusion due to a recently diagnosed cancer. While I was there, she had called me twice regarding the price, but I missed the calls. She was concerned with the price and replacing the other three bulbs. I had completely forgotten that it was the day that the bulb was being replaced or wiring if needed. Once I got home, I asked her how much was it? She explained he came to the house did not need his ladder instead used our stepladder. He said it was no more than a bad LED. He left and went to his office to get a bulb. He then called and said they did not have that bulb in stock (soft yellow) it can take 1 to two weeks to get it in. However, they do have four other bulbs in stock, of the same color(white). My wife did agree to four bulbs, because he said the other bulbs could die at any time. She said he return with the bulbs shortly after and was out the door in about 20 minutes. He took the old bulbs with him. She gave me the bill and I was in shock $509.01. I called Michael and Son at the same day at 6:11 PM and spoke to a woman in their customer service. She said it no problem they will merely return the old bulbs and replace the new one and only charge for the new bulb. They will be back out on Thursday to do the job. I asked my wife where the old bulbs are she said he took them with him. I decided to call back Michael and Son and spoke with Mousa at 7:13 PM. I explained my concern that they will throw away the old bulbs

The technician did not perform two of the three services I requested. I wanted preventative maintenance on my water heater but the tech did not do that at all because he said it would be a waste of time and money and tried to sell me an appliance replacement package instead. Very unsatisfied, I paid a $75 dispatch fee for nothing but a sales pitch.
