My daughter contacted Michael and Son to replace an outlet. Although the web site states replacement outlets start at $230, she was charged $411. When I called to ask for an explanation of how a $20 part and a twenty minute service call resulted in $411, Terrill could not have been more rude and belligerent. I was told repeatedly that my daughter signed off before the work started. I asked how is a 25 year old who has never called an electrician before supposed to know what is a reasonable cost and I got the same response, that the work was approved prior to starting. If there was a legitimate reason for the higher expense, I gave Terrill the opportunity to explain but he could not, just kept repeating that the work was approved before starting. Without justification of the amount charged, leads me to believe they took advantage of a younger customer and this company cannot be trusted.

Garbage Disposal Beware of the horrible way their technicians can treat the clients... learn from my story, because what started as an unsatisfactory interaction ended with a scary experience for me as a woman/ customer. On November 28th, I made a warranty appointment for a garbage disposal that was installed a few months prior and stopped working. I was charged $233.86 to push the reset button and pull out a flower stem from my drain (the technician with initials C.N. was in my home from 9:24am â 9:36am). The technician said he was going to charge me because this fell under the jam category and not under the warranty. When I stated that I was going to write a review to warn other customers about my experience, the technician got extremely angry and started yelling at me in my own home to the point that I was scared of this guy. I called the company to report such unprofessional and disturbing treatment of their customers. His manager (with initials M.M.) called me back and he seemed more concerned about the money than the scary behavior of his employee. He promised to return 50% of the fee I was charge and it has been now almost four weeks and there is still no return to be seen. Please save your money and go elsewhere for your needs. Their technicians and managers need training on professionalism and customer service.

Save yourself the headache and find another company. They are completely irresponsible. I paid them to install a new heating and cooling unit and it has been nothing but a nightmare. The unit(s) have been screwed up since day one. It has been consistently losing refrigerant since the day it was installed, which they do not seem to have an issue with. Also, when the unit shuts down or starts up, the outdoor unit makes a horrible screeching noise. Each tech that checks it out has a different reason why its screwed up, I have been offered by some techs to do off-the-books repairs. I have been told 1) that it is because I bought one of the cheaper units, 2) to just wait a few months, 3) that it is the line-sets and been told that there is nothing wrong with it. I have a warranty that includes labor, and they try to charge for a diagnostic fee each time they come out. I just do not have the patience to deal with them anymore and will probably have to get another company to come and service this unit. They tried hard to making excuses about the AC system they installed and the indoor coil is defective and leaks refrigerant and they wasted time and my time so the labor warranty expires (two years) so they admitted finally after the warranty( labor) expired that the coil is defective and they told me that parts under warranty and the labor not so they can charge me for the labor which is very expensive ( $2500 ) Higher than many companies charges so they try to make money in every which way. Its their fault they have installed a defective unit with defective coil and make me pay for tier mistake . THAT NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO DO BIZ MAKING CUSTOMERS PAY FOR TIER MISTAKES.?????????????????????????????????????????? STAY AWAY GUYS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
