Galvanized Gutters - Repair
The worker did not listen to what we wanted done, a replacement of a 60ft. seamless. He said that he would repair the leaking piece. After several tries the leak had worsened. His promise that we would be able to see the repair was unsustainable. He cleaned sev- real gutters, not all. He then did not return my can of paint. I have hired a different person to replace the gutter at a far less cost.

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
I hired Michaels' to repair a roof leak, repair damaged ceiling and to move a washer & dryer. He skipped 3 appointments, arrived late when he did show up, left in the middle of the job. He asked for payment before the job was done, left a ladder here! I've not seen nor heard from him in the two months since. His wife made an appointment for him to finish the job & he never showed up. He doesn't answer his phone and doesn't respond to voice mails. I'll have to hire someone else to finish the job.

I tried to contact you each time I was notified that you had filed a complaint against my company. I've sent you emails, my office has called, and we never heard back from you. I did not fulfill my obligations to you and I sincerely apologize for that. My family suffered a terrible loss and I had to be in another state. I understand I am not the only one to ever suffer a loss I also understand none of this helped your situation at all. I am glad I have the opportunity to fulfill my obligations to you. It gives me great pleasure to offer this review for Michael's Complete Home Maintenance. I have had two occasions to call on Michael Miller for his services. First, to repair a toilet installation that became an emergency situation, and second, a washing machine repair. The first happened on a Saturday and Michael was on scene with an hour. He took care of the problem making certain to attend to all matters of the flooding that had occurred. Second was my washing machine repair which he performed in under thirty minutes. I live in Ozark, Alabama but am originally from New England and I can say with absolute surety that what Michael charged me for his work would have been four to five times greater back home. Michael's work is outstanding and the response time remarkably quick. When he says he can do anything this is not an exaggeration or hyperbole. Hr really can. He has my complete faith and trust. There are many projects in my home that need a skilled hand and Michael will be the only one I contact to perform the work.

We first hired Michael's Complete Home Maintenance to repair a wood-rotten out bow window in our home. We got several estimates, had checked with Home Advisor, and spoke with Michael. His knowledge on how to fix it without having to replace the whole thing was impressive and his price bid very reasonable, so we went with him. Good Decision!!! His workers were courteous, professional, and skilled. The result was wonderful - better than the original window. Next we had him do repairs on the house: replace worn out parts of the house. Again: great job and very reasonable price. Next we had them paint the whole house. Fantastic job! Not only does he do all the work that was promised, he also would fix those things we hadn't even noticed initially. Currently, heâÂÂs working on putting up a new wooden privacy fence with gates on the sides and front, with a chainlink fence with gate at the back of our backyard, exactly as we had envisioned it. We have dogs, so do the neighbors. Michael factored this in perfectly while working on the fence, replacing just one section at a time. HeâÂÂs also constructed the fence out of single planks of treated wood, which each are hung using screws. Then will treat the wood again to protect it. That fence will likely outlive me, itâÂÂs so solid! His crew was beyond courteous - they even helped me carry in groceries. I am just so thankful for the wonderful results of his labor and feel blessed that we have found someone as professional and HONEST as Michael Miller. We won't use anyone else to do projects around our house, since Michael does it all.

Cabinets - Install
The mantel installation was excellent. Careful attention given to centering and leveling the mantel. The heavy mantel was mounted on a brick wall with corbels. Job neatly done with cleanup by installer.

Interior Painting or Staining: 3 - 4 Rooms
Do not hire Michael's Home maintenance for roofing repair. His estimate was not even close to the amount of my paid invoice. My roof leaked much worse when he left than when he started the job and it was leaking in the same places. The quality of the work was extremely poor. I had to hire another person to come and repair his sloppy job. He left globs of clear rubbery material all over my roof where the water could not flow across the shingles. It actually dammed the water so the only place water had to go is under the shingles. Michael's hire hand did the work unsupervised. It looked horrible from the ground. I'm told it was even worse when inspected on the roof. I doubt Michael even inspected this work because there were more than 40 roofing nails just hammered over the shingles. The man who repaired the roof after Michael's botched job took pictures to show me. He was appalled. Michael not only did not show up to see where the roof was leaking after he was paid, but he left equipment for more than a month. He would call or his wife would call letting us know he was on his way to retrieve his equipment, but would no- show. Do not believe him if he claims to knows how to repair a roof. My roof is only 10 years old and it has the highest quality shingle on the market. While it is true I have an issue with the roof leaking before he came on the scene, it is also true that he made the issues even worse.

It seemed like he had no knowledge how to install this range hood. He did not give me the opportunity to check his work. He picked up his tools and left. I noticed that the light and fan buttons did not line up. Then, a few days later, I noticed that the fan blew exhaust air back into the room and not up the vent. When I called him he became VERY rude and said that there was no way to install it incorrectly, saying there was only a black wire and a white wire. His tone of voice was very insulting. I told him about it blowing into the room, and that I had not yet rated him on Home Advisor. He became instantly angry, yelling that I didn't need to threaten him, He kept yelling and said he would come the next day...then hung up without letting me speak. I called back and cancelled the appointment. I WON'T have employees talk to me in this fashion! He was rude and disgusting. I think that Home Advisor should remove his name from the list. Also, to reimburse me for his fees so that I can get someone in here that can fix the problems he created.

"Theodore I am sorry that you feel that way. As I recall, you did check my work? We stood at the range vent as you tried it out and thanked me for my work and showing up on such short notice. You were so happy with the price of the service that you asked me to give you an estimate for the ceiling repair in the hallway. You also asked me to bring your garbage can up from the curb to your house and when I was leaving said that you would call me for any future work. When you called this morning and informed me there was a problem I immediately set you a appointment for tomorrow on Saturday 3/5 at 9am and I would take care of any issue you were having.Then 15 minutes later you called my office and yelled at the lady in the office about never wanting to see us again. We stand behind our work 100% and will gladly set you another appointment. Once again I apologize for any inconvenience or aggravation I want you to be completely satisfied with our work and hope to hear from you soon."

Michael was hired upon initial estimate and went right to work repairing a leaking roof. He sealed all cracks and pipe boot. It rained later that evening and he called to verify that I had no leaks! He was diligent in his work and made sure that his work was correct. I would recommend this company for home repair.
