Michael's Handyman Repair

The project was to remove existing wall paneling and ceiling and replace with new drywall. Initially, Michael was very professional and seemed to genuinely care about the quality of the work his crew did. However, the timeline that was agreed upon was extended 2 weeks, causing us multiple scheduling conflicts with other work to be done inside the house. Additionally, the work that was completed was done very poorly and had to be completely re-done.

Started job, then he had to go back to other job. Said be back to finish after other job but never came back. I currently have no water.

I don't even know why this guy is on Home Advisor. I had this guy come out and give me an estimate on some cleaning, repair and installation work I needed done. He even called back and we finalized the price, the day and the time. He never bothered to show up! Of course, he never called to reschedule either. If he simply "forgot" I suggest he use the calendar on his smart phone to help him remember or get a secretary. I do business with many other businesses around my area and everybody else seems to figure out how to properly treat customers. This is exactly WHY there is so much mistrust between homeowners and these fly by night repairmen. This guy won't last long as he continues to treat his customers with absolutely no respect. I cannot believe in the year 2017, that a business owner would behave like an irresponsible 12 year old child and pull a stunt like this. Pathetic!

Mike did skirting, plumbing and trim work. All went well. Happy with results.

He made sure the work was done properly at a fair price and he's a really nice guy.

Very professional and courteous. Did the job quickly and efficiently. Will be contacting him again for odd jobs that need doing.
