Fast talker to avoid questions and clarifications. Sold a 2 coat paint job but missed an extreme amount with both coats. When bought to his attention he yelled that he is not an artist. He came back to touch up, put screws in shutters etc. When I asked about adding paint near existing areas he did not even offer to return to make things right. I tried to do it myself but was too much area cover. Although the house looks great from a distance there are plenty of areas unprotected since no paint is there. Also destroyed cedar siding in several areas while power washing and did not bother sanding it, just painted over spiked cinders of cedar. Left the porches w primer only in Large areas. Broke lattice, trampled flowers,.. must have been having a bad week. I would not hire again. He did follow up to paint the porches.

"All lies, what you bought was a badly weathered old cedar-sided home in major disrepair. I changed siding you expected my new siding to be an exact match to the 30+-year-old siding. We broke lattice, and explain how we trampled lattice that was installed under porches standing up. We did no damage to the siding when power washing, I only ever do a light bleach and rinse because the old siding is very brittle. Read my other reviews below. I came back to your house several times in an attempt to make you happy which just cannot be done. I am sorry but what you wanted and needed was a full restoration, but you said your budget was very tight. We did the best we could on a very low budget."

Michael Dacruz was the consummate professional. I most appreciated his attention to detail as I tend to be a little compulsive. His quote and explanation of his services was spot on; I didnt get this from all of my contractors. I asked him to add a project (not a small one) mid stream and he was VERY accommodating. He started and finished on time which was important to me as I had several contractors lined up. His work was/is impeccable! So lucky I found him .....

Michael is a "professional". Although his crew size varies with the project he is always present on the job. Good equipment, good workmen, and fully insured. Familiar with several larger projects he has done in our area and the owners of the properties give him high marks. Our project involved painting five dormers on a steep roof and job well done. He is very knowledgeable about paint technology. Not the guy to do an hour's worth of painting a front door or other minor tasks and I'd guess he'd need at least a full day's work minimum to mobilize for a job. You will get your money's-worth.

It can be a daunting task to find a professional one can rely on when one is new to an area. My research led me to Home Advisor where I found Michaelâs Painting. His endorsements and ratings stood out above all the others so I decided to meet with him and discuss my house painting. I was so impressed by his knowledge of painting and what should be used in South Carolina environment. His knowledge of painting brands and which ones worked best for this section of South Carolina was a truly educational. He connects with you and discusses all the options available. He takes the time to discuss your likes and makes excellent recommendations when his experience suggests there may be a better way to blend the colors you select. So suffice it to say, my journey through the process only has one word, âOUTSTANDINGâ!!! The painting job itself was second to none. The comments I have received from the homeownerâs association have been so positive. I fully recommend Michaelâs painting and have given his contact information to several people now. If you are looking for a high quality professional job with a personal touch, look no further. I am completely satisfied and I do not give out recommendations easily. A great experience! Michael is the consummate pro. Not only is his craftsmanship top quality, but he has a good eye for color. We had been using an opaque stain on our house. Michael recommended a paint with some gloss instead. Not only will it last longer it looks like a new house! Michael sprays and backrolls so there is excellent coverage. No overspray at all. Always on time and super neat. Trust this guy. He is a pro!

Very unprofessional, left my house a mess everyday he worked, did not make his deadline. He was no more a painter than the common Joe. Showed up and left when he wanted, it was a nightmare experience.

"im sorry that you werent happy with your experience but i must state. We never leave jobs dirty, all gear is put up and floors swept if inside. I stated when i started it would take 3-4 days, started on tuesday morning finished on friday morning. I also helped pick your colors which both of you loved, and helped work out where you wanted the accent colors. Reality is you just didnt like the process of having work done in your home while living it,. we did nothing unusual ,but it drives some people nuts , I cannot accept being called unprofessional, im a 30 year respected contractor, read my other reviews ,most love the service i provide and call me very professional. as stated in many of my reviews. Your job went no different than most interior repaints, you have to expect some disruption to your life and home during the process, I bid bid the job to be done while the house was empty and you waited till after you moved in to have us do the work. i spoke with your roommate she disagrees with your comments and very loved the paint job & colors. some people cant be made happy, that simple"

In addition to doing a splendid job painting the first floor of my house, Michael and Josh showed up, on time, each time an appointment was made. Mike is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work as well as passing these traits onto his employees. He went out of his way to fit me into his schedule at the last minute and did an excellent job painting my interior. I am very picky about things being done right and I have no complaints.
