We had Mid-Atlantic come repair damp corner. They honored their life-time warranty from a system they installed 10 years ago and came out and hopefully addressed it (we'll see, the work was just completed). Eric was great - ask for him if you want someone who is responsive, nice, and knows what they're doing.

The sales experience was great. The installation experience...not so much. We sent the company a list of issues. The companys response to us was always we are researching the validity of your claim even though it was already acknowledged by a company rep that our grievance was valid. We filed a complaint with BBB. Since the company did not respond to our final retort the complaint was closed; however, the issue is unresolved. It has been 7 months to date and still no resolution nor contact from the company. Now we are stuck with a product with a company in which we have no confidence of them honoring their warranty.

The work crew was amazing, they were helpful, knowledgeable, and the job was done well.

They put in a French drain a few years ago and in the past year they have done nothing but jerk me around. They were supposed to come out and fix the leaking in my basement but all they do is cancel the day before or day off the appt. I am at my wits end with all the BS. I am getting a lawyer involved to get this taken care of. If I was you I would not use them. I feel like if you have warranty work to be done they put you on the back burner forever. I am done!!!!!

Do not use this company. If I could rate this company as a -10, I would. They are the biggest ripoff that do not stand behind the lifetime warranty. They have rescheduled appointments 6 times since March 2019.

The scheduling experience was horrific. My house was on their schedule for April 25th, but on Sunday, April 21st they called to ask if they could start Wednesday, April 24th. I agreed to the earlier start date. On Tuesday, April 23rd their scheduler called and said they no longer had a crew available to complete my house(I took the days off work to accommodate). Mid-Atlantic notified me of the new start date on 4/26, which would be Wednesday 5/1. The crew did arrive on 5/1 and they were great. Mid-Atlantic told me I had to be there for the permit inspector on 5/2, which was not true. The crew was at my house so the homeowner was not required to be there. The crew completed the job on 5/2. Less than an hour after they left, it poured down rain and my basement repair leaked! I immediately called and the answering service took my info and said someone was to call me back. After 11 the next day, I called again. I was told there was no one available and that a technician could be at my house Monday morning. At 11:30 on Monday morning I called and they told me they did not *recall* having that conversation with me the previous Friday. The issue is still unresolved. I received 3 quotes for this repair, they all gave me the same scope and the cost was comparable. If I could go back in time, I would definitely pick one of the other companies.

Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing had a slick presentation at a home remodeling show. They bragged that they had waterproofed the Statue of Liberty with a patented procedure. That sounded impressive so we had them put in a drain system in our basement. Their salesman, Steve A. told us that the contract price would be all that we would pay even if complications arose. Their crew showed up and said our floor tiles might contain asbestos. We had to pay $2,800 to have the tiles removed above the already exorbitant amount of $11,355 for what turned out to be a drainage ditch with a sump pump. When we contacted the company about the extra $2,800, we were told that they would have Steve A. answer to that. We never heard back from them. $14,155 was about $10,000 more than what the work turned out to be worth. Now we know but it is too late for us.

High pressure scare tactic sales, terrible customer service. Complete no show on a scheduled appointment without any call. Another appointment where they didn't have the appropriate equipment. Inspection failed because they bungled the paper work. All told over a month past scheduled completion time with horrible customer service throughout. I can only imagine what a nightmare getting them to honor the warranty would be. Talking to MidAtlantic was an amazingly expensive mistake, hopefully you can learn from my experience and think hard before you let them take advantage of you too.

We had a little bit of a brawl over scheduling. The original night they were scheduled to come out they didn't make and didn't call me to tell me they weren't going to be coming out. It wasn't until I called them wondering where they were that I found out, & so they rescheduled me, or we're supposed to of but they didn't, & called several times working the next few days post, talking about wanting to reschedule & left no messages. It wasn't until I called them back after several missed calls from the with no message left that I found out they didn't reschedule me like they said they did , & I explained to the representative that I should of already been rescheduled and she advised that I wasn't. After I explained that to her she was going to tell me it'd be another week before they could come out, even tho they messed up not just once but twice now and I told her she needed to figure out how she was going to get me back on the schedule for the day they should of rescheduled me for to begin with because I didn't think I should have to wait longer now for them to come out because some one on there front end screwed up, & sure enough she got someone else to fix that and they came out as they were supposed to. The front end was very unprofessional and just sucked but I love the tech that came out. He was very knowledgeable , came on time, and honest. I learned quite a bit from him that I see as valuable info in his visit and he didn't even charge me because he told me I had already fixed my issue that I brought him out for myself unknowningly and that I didn't need his services. I like there working crew and would go back to them only for that reason but there front line sucked & if the tech didn't give Me such a wonderful experience I probably wouldn't go Back to them, so be forewarned, the front line sucks but the techs are great. I'll keep them on my list for any future instances just because of that

Since the work was just completed, it is too early to know if the system installed will eventually result in dry basement walls. However, Rob did a great job explaining the problem and the proposed solution so I expect good results. The work crew (led by Alex) did an excellent job installing the system. However, the "broom sweep" cleanup was not great (chunks of concrete and lots of powder left). Rob told me the job would take two days but the company contact told me one day (Rob was correct). In addition, the company contact called on the second day assuming the job was done. It was not... as the crew missed a day due to a team member receiving a snake bite (Alex called and then stopped by to confirm this and assure that I was ok with the delay (I was). So, it seems there was little coordination between Rob, the work crew and the home office. Since I selected Mid Atlantic immediately, I did not compare costs but the price seemed reasonable. Overall, my experience with Mid Atlantic Waterproofing was very good.

I think the cost of work was very overpriced. The quality of the work was good and it did resolve my water problem. The workers were wonderful. I recommend others shop around and not pay the outrageously overpriced cost of this job. I say this in hindsight but I believe there are good solutions for your problem at a lower cost.

Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing quickly responded to my request for service. Their sales rep inspected the poor existing drainage in my basement and made suggestions to improve the system. He took measurements and inspected the foundation, and then he presented a quote for the work to be performed. The work crew arrived on time, and they were quick and efficient. The crew took great care to keep dust and dirt to a minimum. They removed all debris from the work site and left the basement very clean. The new drain tile , piping, and sump pump are of very high quality, and have managed to keep my basement completely dry, even during the rain deluge that destroyed nearby Ellicott City MD.

The crew did a good job with the project. My biggest complaint is follow-up and lack of communication. The laborers spoke hardly any English. I was told a person named Alex would be on the job site. I had to work the days they were there, but at no time did Alex show up when I was there. When I called they assured me that someone would run me through the work that was completed. One week later, and I have yet to receive a phone call back. :( After writing this review, lets see if I get a phone call. I don't think I should have to follow up with them, its their responsibility to follow-up with the customer. Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing, if you read this, I gave you enough time to call me back. Rob was great in explaining everything and recommended the most cost effective option. The crew was professional, arrived on time and performed the job in a timely manner. The basement and the stairs were clean when they finished. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs their basement waterproofed.

Excellent company. Knowledgeable, they sent an engineer to look at work that needed to be done, not just a salesman, who would "get back to me" on the price. Engineer made a drawing and gave us a price on the spot. We had used them in the past for waterproofing, this time they are repairing an exterior foundation wall. Will use them again if needed.

I had on problem. They put a second sump pump in my home and they had to run a wire that is unattractive in order to reach an outlet. It is not cosmetically appealing. They did provide me with options for correcting the issue. Other than that they did a good job.

The work was as promised. I am satisfied with their work.

I was very satisfied. I noticed a small problem and they corrected it right away. They were very polite, Friendly and offered a great service.
