The work was not as promised. Also, the e-mails and phone calls went an answered by the original Contractor.

First, remember that they have really good sales guys. Second, you will be dealing mostly with the the work crew and administrative office staff after your initial sales appt. Third, the different employees and their roles don't always communicate with one another in a timely fashion or with the customer. Fourth, always check the doors and windows once they leave the work site. A basement window was left open one night and on another occassion it was closed but unlocked which caused the blowing wind to blow open, setting off my home alarm system. Fifth, make sure all holes in walls have spray form installed around them. No sure about the system yet since the rainy season is yet to start.

I got three estimates for French drain and mid-Atlantic was the most expensive. But they seemed much more competent and I was glad I spent the extra amount to get them. The work was done in two days. They were very professional and accommodating. And the drain seems to work so far!!

Not sure yet about effectiveness of system. Only one rain so far that tested the system.

They do not return phone calls. Finally someone came by to look at pipes still leaking they installed and was told they have to come back to do the repair. Why did I take off from work? Cleanup after the job was a little sloppy, and plastic barrier along walls could have been put behind plumbing pipes instead of over top of them to make it easier in case you have to ever replace plumbing.

Everything went well. We were satisfied with the results. Mid-Atlantic should have a worker who speaks English well enough to answer any questions the homeowner may have. Had to call the main office to ask any questions we had because none of the workers understood us.

Mid-Atlantic bumped their schedule to accommodate our flood emergency, were professional, courteous, and completed the job quickly. Moreover, they were thoughtful when it came to tracking in and out of the house, as well as leaving the work area tidy.

The scores for this contractor would be all 5's except for the basement started leaking after the work was completed, so i am waiting for a service call later this week to hopefully resolve this problem, and I hope it doesnt cost me anymore.

I was threaten by John, who refused to give his last name, with a lean on my house if I did not open my door for technicians after speaking with the sales rep. to RESCHEDULE for another date. The pump has been running none stop with no water dischared (reported 3 time without action) and I'm still waiting on the State inspector inspect the work performed. This has been the worst experience that I have ever had. I would not recommed this company to my worse enemy. If it were not for Mark Arledge and respectful crew, I would have cancelled the job all together. They receive 2 stars, one for Mark and one for the crew. The overall product stinks

The did a good job.

Mid-Atlantic said what they were going to do and then did what said they were going to do, quickly and professionally. I was not there during the work. Upon inspection I found their work better than I had expected. Good job. I would recommend.

Good price and fast service. Could have been better concrete re-surfacing

The salesman was very nice and supportive but the manager at the office was not very helpful. In fact he acted like he was upset if you had to call to ask question. One time when I called he promised to call me back as I was waiting and he never called me back so I wasn't sure if they would work at my house that day. The workermen were very nice and explained things as they went along or if I had a question about anything. Over all the service was pretty good could have been great if they had cleaned up better.

-Scheduling The scheduling dept. was very poor. We were set to go on a date and after not hearing from them I called to confirm. They had no record of our install slated for the following day. We were told that we would be "worked in" to the schedule and not to worry, this was August 8th when they cashed our check. The job was finally completed Nov. 28th. Sales-The first salesman was like the traditional used car salesman, had to go out to his car to talk to his manager about getting us a good price. Cleanliness - Work area itself was fairly clean but the stairs and the path to the stairs were filthy when they left.

I AM THOROUGHLY SATISFIED WITH THE VERY PROFESSIONAL WORK DONE BY THIS COMPANY.

I would not recommend this company to anyone due to the fact that the quality of the job that they did was not worth the price and the company definitely has some communication issues. After the heavy rains yesterday I still had the same problem with water in my crawlspace and basement.

I wasn't thrilled with the high pressure sales pitch. Also, they installed a defective back-up battery that set off my Carbon Monoxide detector. I had to call the Fire Department and evacuate the house. They promised to replace the battery, but have not done so to date.

They were a little more than some of the other ones that we interviewed but they were by far, in our opinion, the best choice. They sent out an architect at no cost to evaluate our situation and came up with a plan for us. In the end it was a no brainier. Bottom line, more expensive but worth the cost!!!
