In eight years since installation , sump pumps have not kicked off. Feel this was overkill (French drain) . Also sales rep was extremely pushy , not a good experience ... Would not recommend them . Cement curb has hairline cracks due to poor mix .

Expensive

I was told they would cover everything well and not leave a mess. I was also told by the salesman that I could always get him at a cell number he provided. They left a mess, They moved a Piano onto a folded back carpet, and left it that way. I could not ever find my salesman again after 3 attempts. I don't know if the installation works as it has not rained since they were here.

After starting the work they asked me about removing the toilet to get their work done. I approved and asked if they would put it back. It sounded to me like they said yes. When I called them on it a week later they said no, they never come back. Not that it would have made much difference but I felt I was misled.

They did not provide an accurate diagnosis of my problem. I ended up having the exact same issues after they left as I had before they came and had to ask them to return several times to adjust the system. Also ended up needing to hire others to complete work I was given the impression their work would resolve.

So far so good - no leaking. But it cost a great deal!

Took 1 year but the problem has now been fixed.

Don't keep schedules. over priceed. do sloppy job. Don't tell you that they will use sub-contracters. don't cover heating system. Dust in ducts. use your electricity for their heavy electrical equipment. Took 3 days for a 1 day job. Job was to start 4/19. did not start til 4/21. workers left on 4/23 without installing back-up pump. It's 4/28 still no back-up pump and pump line not completed. Talk to Mike and bill(Managers) but refuse to help or give price reduction for my troubles. I Lost a days pay. Electic bill higher do to their equipment. must pay professionals to clean heating system.

HE EXPLAIN EVERY THING IN GREAT DETAIL

Although they had opened up my floors and walls, it was a very systematic chaos and i couldnt believe it that they finished installing the drains, etc in one day. I had to continue the rest of the project (re-install flooring and walls) with another Service Magic contractor.

I had horrible experience with this company from the initial consultation where I was made promises that the workers were forced to keep. I had workers come to my house without the layout or the floor plan. Then argued with workers the how the system was supposed to be put in. I had the call the manager on two occasions to straighten things out. When the job was finally completed i had to argue with the workers to remove the rubbish that was created during this installation. It was a total nightmare I spent $12,000 on job that didn't resolve all my water leak issues in the basement. A word to the wise always get everything in writing !!!!!!!!

I had my sub-basement done on Saturday July 12, 2008, the foreman & his crew, were very nice & polite, & He explained what they were going to do & asked me if I would like to see what they were doing, & I did, the only thing I was under the impression that included in the price, my walls above the trench were going to be done also, but I was told they only do the floors. I was told they thorough sealed the brick walls

Mid Atlantic came quickly to walk the project and give me a price for the work. When they were hired the crew came quickly nd the men were clean and efficient. I am very happy with the job that was done.

All the people from Mid-Atlantic, I dealt with were great and very professional. Two days and they were done. Hopefully it stays dry but if not it has a lifetime guarantee. That is a lot better than what other companies were offering. Anyway the only downfall was the expensive price tag but compared to how all the other companies acted for the estimate, I felt so much more confident with Mid-Atlantic. And they were going to go about the job exactly the way I wanted it done. And almost always you get what you pay for.

They were very professional. The phrase my husband and I used was, "well oiled machine". I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
