Midstate Waterproofing

We chose Midstate Waterproofing to work on our basement because of the positive reviews online. Over the past year, this business has changed in a bad way it seems. Their team was not organized as the job took them 3 weeks to complete on a relatively small job. There were multiple days that they simply did not show up. We believed that one of their employees was drinking on the job because they spilled a drink in our garage freezer that smelled like beer. They damaged our gutter by backing up a truck into it and did not pay for repairs. After the job was finally completed, it rained the next weekend and we were still getting water in the basement. This company claims a 100% lifetime guarantee on their work, but this was not upheld. They would not and have not come back. I spoke with the owner Scott several times over 6 months trying to schedule them to finish the repair. He promised multiple times that he would come out, often saying he would be out the next week, but he never came. As the months progressed Scott continued this unprofessional behavior of stringing us along. All the while our basement continued to have water problems that we paid in full to be fixed. Scott gave several excuses and we tried to work with him but it became very obvious that he was never coming back. I am honestly not sure this company is even doing business now, but if they are I suggest extreme caution when considering them. They may have been a good reputable company at one point, but now they are unorganized and unable to deliver on promises.

Mid State did a great job. Scott kept us informed of the status of the job and our place in the schedule. The work was completed quickly. It works as it should. Scott knows his business and did not try to sell us an over priced solution. I would use them again.

Scott was very knowledgable about our problem. He kept us informed about the job and the timing. The workers were friendly and did a good job and cleaned up very well at the end, We would highly recommend Scott and his company.

Scott was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. His employees were friendly and courteous. I had been dealing with water issues for years in the basement. His work is second to none. Very pleased. Would hire again.
