It was great until they refused to return my phone calls.

I had a terrible experience with this company. First of all they took an extremely long time to finish the project. When finished it turned out that the shower floor was installed incorrectly. It did not slope to the drain properly so there were puddles of water remaining after every shower. They said they would fix it and reinstall the floor. They never came back. We found out later that the two people that did the work no longer worked for the company. Fired?? anyway we called the company numerous times but the company would not answer the phone. We had to leave messages. They never returned our calls. We finally gave up. Do not use this fly by night company!!

August 27, 2016: We have asked Midwest Construction Services LLC in a BBB complaint and have also already asked Midwest Construction Services by USPS Certified Mail on July 26, 2016, to issue a refund-credit for the $2,833.00 deposit amount (one third of the $8,500 total remodeling-project cost) for a planned bathroom remodeling project that was to consist of (1) the replacing the existing toilet with a higher one, suitable for elderly/handicapped home owners and (2) to replace the existing shower with a larger, even-floor/no doors shower with a Euro-style shower-system (equipped with specific rain-shower head, hand-held shower head with slide bar, and 2 grab bars) allowing wheelchair access for home owners who are preparing for in-home-care assistance. Contract was signed May 9, 2016, and final cancelation notice sent on July 26, 2016 by email and by USPS Certified Mail (USPS tracking info shows delivery at business address on July 27 at front desk of (virtual) Campus View business address). A paragraph in the remodeling contract states that “the reasonably anticipated completion date shall be: Approximately 10 weeks.” AT EVERY COMMUNICATION OPPORTUNITY DURING THE FOLLOWING 12 WEEKS following May 9 contract signing, homeowner GM reminded Midwest Construction Services LLC Lead Design Manager D J and Project Coordinator W in words and in emails that, although plaintiffs were flexible regarding the project starting date, that the homeowner GM must see and approve tile materials for the shower walls and floor and the specific shower-system equipment to be used BEFORE actual work would begin. The reason for this stipulation: The complexity of the even-floor/no door shower and shower-system equipment, the coordination of the shower tile with the existing bathroom features, and the fact that another $2,833.00 (the second 1/3 of the total project cost) would be due at the time actual remodeling work would begin. However, several times, when the Project Coordinator W called to say that work-start could begin within a day or two, the homeowners had not yet seen any example shower system ***and the Project Coordinator HAD NOT READ RELATED REQUESTE-BY-HIM FAUCETSDIRECT WEBSITE INFORMATION DURING A FULL 4 WEEKS AFTER RECEIVING IT FROM HOMEOWNER GM. (Copies of all e-mail communication printouts are available.) +++ ACTUAL ON-SITE WORK ON THE REMODELING PROJECT WAS NEVER BEGUN OR COMPLETED. +++ May 9, 2016: As proof of the required deposit payment the homeowners’ Chase VISA Credit Account lists the $2,833.00 VISA transaction in our 4/19/16-5/18/16 Chase Bank statement. I HAD THIS COMPANY REMODEL MY BATHROOM AND WAS PLEASED WITH THAT SO I HAD THEM DO MY KITCHEN. I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED AGAIN VERY PROFESSIONAL IT DID TAKE 1 MORE DAY THAN ORIGINALLY PROMISED BUT THE RESULTS WERE WELL WORTH IT!

They did our bath first of the year and they did our cabinet refinishing in our kitchen this month. Very professional, much cheaper than replacing and they look great! Thanks again, Midwest!

The employees are wonderful! The company is awful. I have a list of problems with this company. They took my money in June 2015. The project was considered "finished" on December 22 but I am still waiting for window trim and spigot fix. I was called names on several occasions by owner when I called to complain. Company is not listed on building directory. I Never knew if and when they were coming. They canceled on a day to day basis. I spent hours picking out items, only to have them not ordered. We were very pleased with the time and effort the Midwest n'Hance team took to make sure we were happy with the outcome. They responded to all our questions and concerns with a pleasant attitude. Our cabinet doors were old, worn and tricky to rehang. They adjusted the doors several times at our request. Our old oak cabinets are now a fresh gray color with subtle tones of darker gray rubbed in to give them visual interest and appeal. The refinished cabinets make our kitchen look modern and inviting !

Representattive was very helpful and had my best interest in mind. They were quick to get the job started and to be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Very satisfied overall

This company also did my roof last Spring. They do great work...when you can get them to your house! They had some personnel issues during this engagement and didn't finish the work until two weeks after they did the great job on the shower and floor tile. Very personable workers.

They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied.

Had a shingle roof installed and the roofers did an excellent job. Came home and couldn't tell they had even been there except for the brand new roof! Roof was done in a day and gutters installed following week with no issues. Highly recommend this company! I'm planning on more work on my house and most likely call Midwest.

Installers did a fantastic job, Jason was there and answered any questions. It was a extremely hot day out and the company deffinetly took care of their employees.

The crew arrived early and worked more than 12 hours to complete my project. They were very courteous, and did a great job on my siding and cleaning up afterwards.

Midwest was recommended to my by my neighbor and I owe her dinner out for this! I have hadmany projects done in the past by well known, local companies but by far, Midwest was the best. I will use them again.

These folks come right out and that was REAL important to me because it's going to rain again today, Within 24 hours after FIRST talking to them, the work is DONE. Andrew and Dave were more than helpful. You don't mind paying for good service, like this, you know?

I had a great experience with Midwest. They kept in contact while determining the scheduling of my roof replacement. They had a top-notch team replace my 32 square roof in one day. I was very impressed with the quality of the work and the quality of the clean up afterwards. I highly recommend them!
