Do not use this company. He tells you everything you want to hear. Does not respond to texts or calls after he receives the deposit. Cancels and trys to reschedule a lot. His schedule is more important than the customers. Charges $200.00 for a permit that the city charges $9.50. He does not show when he says he is going to. 10am appointment he shows up at 9am. Lucky he even showed at all for the first time he came out to give a quote. Do not use this company.

Excuse me sir. I politely offered your money back to you when you lost your temper and you threatened to call the cops unless I delivered cash, "all 100's", last night and it was after 7pm. Be respectful. Your credit card is being reimbursed. Good luck to you.

READ FIRST! Jake Heine from Midwest egress ghosted me after I paid him the 50% down payment ($2,170) to schedule a window install. He was suppose to install an egress window in my house this September. For weeks, Iâ ve called, texted, and emailed and he doesnâ t respond.

I made the mistake of paying the whole amount before the work was done. It has been over a year since our window was installed and we still do not have a screen. A couple weeks ago, Jake finally delivered a screen but it was too small. He doesn't return calls or texts. I have sent him five texts and a couple calls to see about getting a screen that fits and he has not responded. Before he delivered the incorrect screen, I had tried for months to get a hold of him and he finally responded when I said I would have to leave him a negative review. It's sad that it comes to this. We like the window but we really want the screen we paid for so we can open it. I'll update this review if/when the issue is corrected.

Great experience with Jake and Midwest egress. They were very prompt and worked around my scheduled with flexibility. I will absolutely use them again in the future for other projects. Highly recommend!

Midwest Egress did an excellent job installing our egress window. The workers were very professional and explained what they were doing and why. They worked quickly and left the basement and exterior of the home/yard clean. Would hire them again.
