Commercial Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation or Replacement
Poor Communication, Damaged Property, and Incomplete Work I deeply regret hiring this roofing company. My experience mirrors the numerous negative reviews I've since discovered about their questionable business practices and project abandonment. After making my deposit in October, I waited over four weeks with zero communication about when they would start the roof installation. My voicemails went unanswered, leaving me in the dark about the project's status. The lack of response and mounting evidence of similar complaints from other customers led me to contact my bank about the charge. Out of the blue one day I return home after work to find my roof has been removed, an left it that way for a full week. Their crew carelessly handled my property, damaging my Traeger grill by breaking the front leg and the hopper. Even worse, their sloppy cleanup left roofing nails scattered around my property, resulting in two separate tire repairs. I strongly advise potential customers to l

Do not hire this company. You will be sorry. I was. Once they are paid you will get nothing more from them but empty promises they never deliver on. They will tell you they will come back to fix the issue but never follow thru. They lie and cannot be trusted, Mark (owner) and Matt included. I was left with a problem they did not fix and no refund. They do not care about the customer. Now I have to hire someone else to do the work they were supposed to do. Please make sure you read reviews before you hire anyone. That I did not do and now I am paying for it. I will update the site if I ever get a refund on the work that was not done. Stay tuned. Do not hold your breath.

"We performed the leak repair for Anne per the contract. We recieved calls this spring that said she was leaking again in the same spot that we repaired. Upon sending the crew to the house to fix the leak, we were told it was leaking in the same spot where we fixed it originally. So the crew put up a piece of metal to divert the water from the area Anne told us it was leaking from. She called again and Mark was sent to the property. At this time Mark was told the roof was not leakig and had not leaked since we fixed the leak originally but that she was worried it would leak. At this time we agreed to do some minor repairs to the roof however it is not an emergency and we asked her to wait on the repair man as we have people who are leaking needing attention first. We still have her on the repair board, she has not leaked since we fixed the project origianlly a year ago."

I paid the first half of the payment on 4-23-19... it is now 7-21-19. Job was replacing my existing patio roof. I have contacted them 4 times for the still LEAKING patio roof and they appeared to have MORE IMPORTANT jobs to complete. I wish they would have said they didnt know how to replace it in the first place! Now we finally have a much needed rainstorm and I have three containers collecting dripping water. The job was HALF DONE and they received what it was worth, per my attorney.

Midwest Restoration has been fixing my family's storm damage for years. Not only are they caring and easy to work with, they also get the job done in a timely and cost effective manner. I appreciate Mark, Suzie and the crews for always making sure my house is fixed to my satisfaction. They even meet the adjuster out and take away all the work that I'd normally have to do myself with the insurance company. They even upgraded me to architectural roof, no extra money out of pocket! I will be continuing to give my business to this company.

My husband and I have a beautiful home which we take care of after the hail storm we wanted things back to normal quickly and they worked with the insurance company and moved fast to get everything damaged approved, Midwest Restoration is local which I love! Very knowledgeable staff and polite crew who did a nice job on clean up. The office isn't open on the weekend but if you ask for mark or susans work cell or call your sales rep cell #(at least I did) I got the answer I was looking for in minutes which eased my mind. The roof looks out standing and I referred my in-laws to use them as well.

Crew did a great job tearing off shake shingles, installing asphalt and cleaned up very well. Kevin was great to work with on this project with guidance on attic ventilation that other roofers did not bother with.

The work itself, done by Leroy, is excellent! We had an old porch roof (we've been here 30 years and it was here when we bought the house) that needed to be torn down and rebuilt. It looks beautiful now! Leroy was professional and friendly and we'd hire him again in a second. Our only downfall with Midwest Restoration was the communication. After hiring the company we had to contact them a few times to see when work might be done and then dates would go by and no one would show to do the work so we'd again call and be told more dates. This project wasn't an emergency and we understand that things come up on other projects, we would just have appreciated more communication from the business end of this.

This company does not stand behind their work. After Mwr installed a brand new roof, leak. The owner Mark, actually told me that the roof ridge vent they installed is not designed to keep heavy wind driven rains from leaking. He refused to do anything about it. He said to wait to see if it leaks again, which of course it did. Now, there is no answer when I call and they have not returned my messages. Once you pay them, you will not be able to reach them again. Buyer beware! Do a Google search before you hire them.

"We spoke to this customer, he is in Florida until June and wants to wait till he is back in town before we can fix the issue. All of our customers have a 5 year labor warranty on top of the manufacturers warranty."
