My experience with Mierzwa Construction and Mierzwa Inc. has been extremely concerning and costly. Communication was inconsistent and often delayed. I was contacted by multiple subcontractors and suppliers stating they had not been paid for work or materials tied to my project. A lien was placed on my home despite my payments being current or ahead of schedule, arising from nonpayment claims, and I received notice of additional liens. The work contains numerous defects, does not meet agreed-upon specifications, and resulted in stop work orders and failed inspections. Issues include water in my crawlspace, inoperable windows, improper gutter drainage, gaps in flashing and soffits, door gaps, and more. After months of attempts to resolve these issues, progress stalled and I was informed they are unable to complete the project despite being paid for incomplete work. The project extended beyond a year, leaving significant unfinished work and additional costs. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
