Mike's CAD & Modeling Services

I hired Michael for a remodel project. After he was paid, he ghosted me for revisions. In design and architecture, there will always be revisions. Beware that you will pay 100% before receiving your drawings and then you are on your own. I cannot recommend Mike basedd on this experience.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mike for CAD and modeling services, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Mikes attention to detail and expertise in his field is evident in the high-quality work he delivered. He was responsive to my needs and ensured that the final product met all my requirements. This guy is available even 12 midnight for my needs. I highly recommend Mike for any CAD and modeling needs you may have.

Do not use him unless you want be frustrated!

It was a pleasure working with Mike. Extremely thorough with an excellent attention to detail. Our design was complicated and fully custom and Mike worked through it bringing our original design to reality. Heâ s not afraid to be an honest critic if he sees a design problem and is willing to offer clear solutions.. I highly recommend him.

Mike was the professional that I expected and more. Through the ups and downs of our Covid situation he maintained constant contact and patience. I recommend his company to anyone in need of renderings for a major or minor design for their home.

Be aware. I will spare you all the details. He did not deliver within the 6 weeks timeframe he committed too. It took 2 weeks for him to produce what we gave him. No changes. We had a zoom call then he took another 2+ weeks to give us the changes we discussed. I told him that time was of the essence since he was the hold up for the next phase of the process. He delivered the worst design and I told him it was unacceptable. He said we would have the changes by Friday by the following Tuesday we still had NOTHING. I emailed again. I texted and he said to email him. It was another 2 weeks and I could not wait any longer and we still did not have a final design. He said the entire process from design to getting the structural engineer to do his part and give us a plan ready for permitting. The missed deadlines caused the builder to be delayed in getting pricing, which delayed us getting the financing complete... I saw the review from Lonnie 7/24/21 and thought maybe it is a one off. NO! It sounds pretty similar. He does not keep deadlines nor provide quality work. I have to start over and find someone else to to do the design, I have lost money and time. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. I do not recommend him.

Good person, knowledgeable, and patient when it come to ensuring your vision comes to life. When I've shown the plans to GCs , they all commented on how well executed the plans are. He will also provide renderings of your vision so you are able to physically SEE your ideas from your head to almost life:-).I will add, when designing, I had a vision, but no real idea of how much my vision would cost. Now the beautiful plans, are a bit costly to build. I will suggest developing your plans with the potential GC and architect at the same time if you value adhering to a build-out budget. I definitely recommend Mike!

First of all, I would not pay cash to this company--for obvious reasons. Secondly, if you do hire him, I would recommend setting strict deadlines and sticking with them, no matter the situation. Below is the problem I dealt with: I was supposed to receive completed floor plans, elevations, electrical plan, foundation plan, structural framing plan, and 3-D renderings from Mikes CAD and Modeling Services, as shown on the invoice. However, after almost four months, I never received the final product from this business. He informed us that he went out of the country. Subsequently, we never heard from him until we threatened to seek a full refund and use someone else. He called and stated there was a major power outage in the country. Regardless, he did not meet deadlines, and he breached the contract terms and conditions, notes, and descriptions, which were detailed on the invoice. We attempted several times to contact him, with little to no success. Finally, we got fed up with his lack of response and asked him for a copy of the CAD (.dwg file) file, which he refused to relinquish. If he had provided us the file, we could have used another architect to finish work on the project. However, Mike refused to give us the file and insisted that he would have the floor plan and elevations completed, along with the comprehensive structural plans (framing, foundation, electrical, etc.) by close of business the next Monday. We never heard from him again. Subsequently, we had to hire a new architect to re-initiate the project and attempt to finish it prior to the next Architectural Review Board meeting in the city. The cost of the project is $4000.00. Additionally, we are under contract for a Land Lot. We have had to move the financing contingency date and the closing date because Mikes CAD has severely delayed this project, with no regard for us as clients and no regard for all of the money we have on the table for this real estate transaction. He is immoral and lies when faced with the reality that he does not meet expectations and deadlines. I have emails, texts, and screenshots as evidence. We never received the product that was promised to us. Mikes CAD seriously dropped the ball for me and put my Land Lot and home building project in jeopardy. Heres the really telling part--when we sought a refund through the payment vendor, Mikes CAD disputed it and attempted to supply evidence for the contrary. Think about that--someone holds up a project for months, does not meet deadlines, makes false promises, you never hear from them, but they are able and responsive enough to respond to the payment vendor in an effort to retain their money. Hire at your own risk.
