Reviews
Write a ReviewWe had a new boiler/water heater installed last week by Mikes. They did an exceptional job and worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Their knowledge and expertise in installing our furnace was impressive and we can absolutely say they went above and beyond in their efforts to do a great job. We will continue to rely on them for our cooling and heating needs and highly recommend them. Thanks Mile, Mike and Jake!
Dan was very professional, explaining the work to be done in a way that I could understand it.
Mike's Custom Mechanical claimed the problem with our furnace was the transformer needed to be rewired to the furnace due to a short in the wiring from the transformer to the furnace and would charge us $1,500. Instead of running new wire from a new transformer to the furnace, they simply connected a 3' wire from a new transformer to the existing shorted wire and added an additional 1' wire at the end of the original wiring, leaving many twisted electrical wire connections exposed out in the open. This was not a professional solution: They installed a badly surface worned transformer, leaving scraps of electrical wire pieces, end caps and debris all over the floor. The original wiring from the transformer to the furnace is still shorted and the furnace still does not kick on. It's now a week later, still without heat and robbed of $900. From the moment they arrived they were baiting and switching before they even looked at the furnace, quoting outrageous prices for simple basic parts and continuously trying to talk us into buying a new furnace. This company was more motivated in selling a new furnace than they were fixing the problem. This company was like hiring the Three Stooges trying to fix a furnace. When they were done, the guy, Mike with Mike's Custom Mechanical said "Why don't we just refund your $900 down payment and we can just part ways". When we contacted Mike a couple of days later about our refund, Mike said he wasn't going to refund it.
I am sharing this as a public service warning. My experience with Mikes Custom Mechanical was the WORST business experience I have had in decades. Unprofessional and manipulative business practices. I will never use them again!
Very personable and explained everything
Fast response, quality work, prices were high although EVERYONE is high these days. He came back out to start daughterâ s water heater. I would hire him again.
This company impressed me so much with its customer service that I hired them to replace our mini boiler even though the bid was well above the other bids. Their office people, GM, techs and sales were all so nice and accommodating lon the phone and in person. And it was just a week from contract to having the work done. Warm floor again!
Good job knew what had to be done.
The people are outstanding! Great experience!
They do Very good job to my project and price is reasonable.
