Mike was excellent! He did a great job on several projects for us. We were going to have our house painted and needed to repair rot and other damage before the painting was done. Mike did a terrific job doing that, and he went on to make much more important repairs that made the house really "shipshape," correcting a number of things not done properly when the house was originally built. He also replaced clapboard, the tread on deck stairs, a railing, and a window storm/screen unit. He was very conscientious, thorough, polite and professional.

Storm Windows - Install or Replace
Mike was very attentive to details and worked carefully to make sure that new windows fit properly into the cavities in our old house. He was responsive to inquiries and our requests and made sure we knew about extra work/costs that may be required. He works mainly with Harvey Windows. When they delivered a broken window to him, he worked with them to get a replacement and to accommodate our schedule.

We had a couple of items that needed to be addressed prior to the closing of a house sale. Mike was able to fit us into his schedule and he got the job done on time and within the estimate he provided. He communicated well and he was flexible in the approach he took to resolve the issues. He could be a little more friendly but would recommend him because he gets the job done quickly. He wasn't rude or anything like that. I think his price was a little high, has a minimum.

"I don't agree with this review for two reasons. 1, I was not unfriendly. We spoke briefly on the phone, I came the next day to do the repair. I left an invoice in his mailbox, he paid it, and thanked me. 2, I told him I had a minimum fee, which is what I charged him. If he didn't like the fee, he was free to hire someone else at that time. I believe my rates are fair and competitive. If you look at all my other reviews, you'll see this one doesn't make sense."

Mike worked efficiently, had the correct tools to measure and fit in a replacement piece of vinyl siding, cleaned up, and was pleasant to have around. I would hire him again.
