Mike's Landscapes

Great guys, on time and great work.

After hiring Mike to do our lawn, I asked if he also demolished decks. Ours was rotting really badly and we didn't want anything salvaged. He made sure he understood the work we needed and quoted fairly, breaking down the quote for me so I could easily understand the cost. He was very reasonable in price and also hauled away a rusted swing set and clothes line that were in our yard when we moved in but we're unsafe for children or pets to be around. Mike was very thorough making sure all the debris was cleaned up from the demo work and holes filled in with dirt so our dogs didn't get hurt. He was very caring and offered to quote to add steps to the concrete patio that was under the deck but which didn't have a good step to improve safety.

Michael has built me a new walkway with wire panel railing and built good sturdy gates and they look great. I bring arms full of groceries thru my gate and by golly, it closes right behind me by itself so my pups do not get out. He has done some household chores for me such as putting on my new kitchen sink and faucet. He has done wonderful expedient yard work from mowing a backyard full of unruly weeds to trimming and mowing my front yard. Does a beautiful job. He is a hard worker and takes pride in the end effect whether it is mowing, cleaning up the trash, or building a gate. Pleasant to get along with and can think for himself. Yes, I will hire him back as a handyman for yard care. He is fair-priced and honest. If he can not do a job he will say so but he will tackle just about anything. Michael Retting house is my definite go-to man!!!

Mike swung by the same day we reached out to him to check out our yard and quote us. Mike was very kind, listened to what we needed, and made sure what he was thinking matched what we were thinking. He was right in our ballpark for payment and stopped by on the agreed date to start work. He cane over bright and early and got to work. The lawn looks perfect, and we arranged for him to do the upkeep as well.
