Mike's Hardwood Flooring

I found Mike to be irresponsible,, uncommunicative and unprofessional. I recommend that he not be hired. Summary - Mike accidentally damaged an antique bookcase on his last day on the job here and refused to take any responsibility for it. The damages were $1412 and Mike refused to reimburse me for it. The specific incident which leads to this recommendation occurred as Mike was finishing up the job at my home. Work was performed on various dates between 10/17/22 and 12/7/22. As he was leaving, Mike accidentally smashed a section of curved glass on an antique bookcase in my living room. As the piece is an antique, it requires that the repair be a piece of custom glass with custom fitting/installation. Before he left the job, Mike told me he would work to locate someone who could do the repair. That was on 12/7/22. After he left on 12/7/22, Mike began ignoring me, and did not reply to my texts of 12/9 or 12/10, so I started contacting glass suppliers myself. After many dead ends, I found a nearby vendor who came to take measurements and provide a quote for the work. The quote was for $1412. I advised Mike of this on 12/14. Mike either ignored or sent non-responsive replies to my further follow up texts of 12/19, 12/20, 12/27, 12/29, 1/3, 1/5, 1/9, 1/17 and 1/18. It became clear Mike has no intention of doing the professional, responsible thing by compensating me for the damage he caused. I advised Mike I would be reporting my experience with him so that others might avoid hiring him in the future. He obviously doesn't care and apparently believes no one will care.

Completed on schedule, great price, and look awesome for vinyl plank installation on the entire condo unit.

Hard-working crew. Knowledgeable of the things Necessary that a home owner would not think of.

Mike is a perfectionist. He does quality work. He installed beautiful hardwood flooring and also a great patio.

Not only is Mike a great guy but he is also very hard working and aims to always please his customers!!
