Mike the Plumber

Buyer Beware! I have lived in my home for 31 years and never had a problem with my kitchen drain. I hired Mr. Mike Brown to clean the kitchen drain and his recommendation was to replace the kitchen drain pipes. I instructed him to remove the old drain pipes and replace them with the new drain pipes in the same position that the original builder had done. However, Mr. Mike Brown did not do as I asked and refused to make the corrections. He became very loud and irate, asked me where is my plumbers license, and stated that the way he did it was the only way he could do it and would not make any corrections. The original cost was $2200.00 if I used cash. However, since I used my debit card, Mr. Brown charged me an additional $150.00 to process the debit card. Also, Mr. Mike claimed that his credit card swiper was not printing so therefore he could not print out a receipt and that he would email the receipt to me. He never did. Upon checking my account Tuesday morning, I noticed that Mr. Mike Brown charged my debit card $ 2,632.00 instead of $2,350.00 which was $282.00 more than what the invoice stated. Again, BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON TO DO WORK FOR YOU!! HIS WORD IS NOT HIS BOND!!!!! I would not hire him again!

Punctual, showed up when promised. Very professional and friendly. Went right to the problem to troubleshoot. Clearly explained what the issue was and gave a quick estimate. The sump pump was replaced and working. Total time was 2h15min from initial arrival to job done and paid. Will recommend to everyone I know. I will call them again for other plumbing project. Mike was very quick to take my call literally minutes after submitting my request on HomeAdvisor. I had two other plumbers come out for a clogged drain issue and both of them never even went inside to check out the issue. They both stood outside and mentioned that since my house was old, I'd need to replace all of my plumbing and quoted me basically around $7000. Bear in mind that I put in a request because my toilets wouldn't flush. Mike showed up shortly after the other two left, came inside, took a look at the issue, brought in an auger, and fixed my issue within minutes. Toilets were able to flush again. Tubs were able to drain. Mike provided a no-nonsense immediate solution to my issue on top of taking a general look at the property and pointing out a few other things that may need to be resolved in the future. Very nice. Very professional. I'd give 6 stars in all categories if I could.

Mike and his partner are very professional and explain every step of the project. If you have any other questions pertaining to plumbing mike will help you with that as well. Great customer service. Will hire he for further projects. And will recommend to others because he take pride in his work.
