After a water leak behind our bathroom vanity we were forced to kick a postponed remodel into high gear. After all the calls and countless estimates, we decided to go with Refined Renovations. Robert was one of the few contractors to actually show up for an estimate. Robert understood what we needed done and kept to a really solid schedule. As the vanity and granite delivery schedule approached, Robert made sure everything was ready for them to do their job. As with many projects ideas change and Robert was more than willing to add them into the project. In our case we decided on heated floors and led nichos. Robert was super excited when we presented him the ideas. Robert helped us get our bathroom back to normal after total demo. He took the time to ensure tile was straight, flat, and cuts were done professionally. He gave me ideas and options throughout the project and it just added to the awesome result at the end. We finally got our spa like bathroom. This type of project can be stressful but the results are so worth it. I recently purchased a home and wanted to update the shower. It looked “new,” but the shower head was too low, there was no shower door, and the overall design felt bland. I found Robert on Nextdoor and had a gut feeling he would do an amazing job. I got several quotes, but something about Robert stood out. I told him I wanted fewer grout lines, a glass shower door, and most importantly, a niche. He offered great product and design suggestions, and he brought my vision to life perfectly. When he demolished the old shower, he discovered that the studs and wood underneath were rotted and falling apart. Robert immediately let me know, replaced the damaged wood, and even made sure the drywall next to the shower was properly repaired before continuing. He worked around my schedule and was, hands down, the best contractor I’ve ever worked with. My friends and family all want to hire him now, and I would proudly recommend him to anyone. My wife and I were looking to replace our kitchen backsplash and found Robert on NextDoor with great reviews and pictures of his work. I contacted him and he was in constant contact. Came to the house quickly to assess and provide an estimate. His price was very fair, based on the quality of his work we had seen online. He sent me a comprehensive list of materials to procure for the job. He started as soon as I had the supplies. He was professional, fast, had great communication, was on time each day and showed up each day-can’t say the same for all contractors, and the finished product looks amazing. We are very happy with Robert and his work and have spoken to him about a shower repair/partial replacement to be done in the future. Robert is not your typical contractor. He cares about your satisfaction with the project and communicates with you throughout the process. He is flexible and accommodates changes to ensure he delivers a product you will be pleased with. He has the creativity to recommend changes to enhance the look and does so with the goal of exceeding your expectations. Robert is genuine in his work and has the expertise to take on almost any project.

Robert with Refined Renovations put in a new drop in tube for us. We replaced an old broken corner jacuzzi that used too much water. Robert was prompt coming out giving us an estimate. He was great at communicating throughout the process. He even accommodated our desire to use our old tub fixtures that matched our vanity fixtures (saving us $). We are pleased that we used Refined Renovations.

My only complaint is that the project ended up costing me $400 more than Robert originally quoted. For a $2,000 project, that is significant. Also, he took a bit longer than he predicted, but I understand that happens.

They were quick and efficient, and did great work at a reasonable price.

Iâ ve had a great experience with Robert and his team. I hired him after consulting with him on my new remodel by another company that turned out badly. The previous contractor, this is before Robert, had put down laminate floors throughout my upstairs floor. There were so many flaws in the work, serious problems and I could not trust the same person to fix it. The worst problem was the entire staircase had been done improperly, causing many issues. Huge gaps, nails, too much glueâ ¦ trim split.. it was terrible. ( I ended up having significant issues with the previous guy, he was not ethical or honest) I asked Robert what needed to be done to fix my floors, trim, staircase and walls. He spent time evaluating the mediocre work and let me know what and how to fix things. He gave me a very fair price and shortly after he began working for me. I was incredibly relieved to have found Robert. He is very particular, knowledgeable, and gets work done efficiently. He communicates well and he has been flexible with me regarding extra little things I need done unexpectedly. For example, I needed to have my locks changed and install light fixtures and he was able to get this done for me pretty quickly. Getting back to my staircase and trim, Robert had to remove all the trim upstairs, redo it correctly. Remove all the new flooring on staircase, build and reinforce staircase ( previous guy did not do this) with wood like it should have been done initially. Then lay new laminate. He had innovative ideas during this project that we used - everything worked looks great ! Upstairs he redid the new laminate throughout the hallway because it had been put down so poorly just weeks previously by another guy. This was so much work for him because of the way it had been done. Robert is not done yet with my home as Iâ m having him come back to work on projects downstairs, remodel the entire floor. Robert is easy to work with, works hard and is very knowledgeable about what he does. I recommend him for home improvement, maintenance and any repairs within his range.

Robert was professional installing the vinyl flooring in our camper. Took his time and the results were good. Knowledgeable and friendly.
