Major Renovation Multiple Room Service
Admitted that he shouldn't have taken the job, after I questioned him about the texturing of the wall addition on the project we hired him to do. He spent 3 days trying to texture the wall only to make a complete mess of it. The part that made me the most upset was that he was planning on leaving it that way unless I had said something to him. He also framed the door 12 inches too wide initially and had to have him come back to add onto it. Needless to say, he wasn't permitted to finish the project. I will give him the credit of being a really nice and on time guy, but as far as quality and overall client respect, maybe he needs to get back to the basics.

Peter did a very good job with my patio cover. We had just gotten concrete installed and it was not square so Peter had to work with that. He did an excellent job. Always asked questions before he started something new. It took awhile for this project to be completed for he didn't put in many full days but he did an excellent job.

A little messy but otherwise Peter built me a great, quality deck. Most importantly, Peter is always on time and reliable. If he says he'll be somewhere at 7:05, he'll be there at 7:05. Unlike most contractors, he'll even exceed your expectations sometimes and finish earlier than he anticipated, etc. I would recommend Peter to friends.

Peter did a great job and was a great value. His partner that did the work was nice and was a hard worker. I did have a couple issues with some 2 x 4 placements. When I talked to his partner he was a little reluctant to change it, but did.

Took awhile because the job was started in the winter, but the patio roof is solid, was done exactly to specifications. Contractor was hassle free and good to work with.

Miller Construction gave us a good price, worked with our ideas, listened to what we wanted, and did as we asked as long as it fit code. We ran into a small problem, however Peter was here ASAP and got it taken of as fast as possible. We will consider using Miller Construction for future projects.

Worst experience I have ever had hiring anybody for anything. I had to constantly be on Peter's case about things that were obviously out of sqare, level, plumb or just not right. I ended up doing the painting because he was too sloppy. My deck is still out of square and level in several places. He also broke an irrigation pipe even after I told him to be cautions while digging the foundation for my shed. After breaking the pipe he told me he fixed it which was not the case. Everytime I expressed a concern he would just say "I know, I know" and remind me that he gave me a "good" price. My price ended up being way to high in the end!

"If I remember we tested the sprinkler system and it did not leak. He wanted to paint everything to save money. I did this deck a year ago and he has not xomplained to me. He also did a lot of the work himself. He put the decking on himself. For this project He had other bids and I believe I was the lowest price."

Overall we are pleased with Peter's work and the deck looks great! He had some trouble with measurements - maybe because we requested him to do all the work himself. He undermeasured the size of the deck when he gave us his initial estimates and a couple of the supporting posts were out of plumb enough to be noticeable. Also, the deck took much longer to complete than we ever imagined (4 months), but weather was a factor since it was during the winter. However, there were many good weather days on which no work was done and he had at least one other job going part of the time which took his time away from our job.

"I did underestimate the size of the deck, but I ate the extra cost and did not charge them anything for an additional 88 square feet. This included dryspace, upperlevel deck and hand rail. The weather did effect the project and there were some unforseen details that cost time."

I had hired another contractor to build my deck and he left me with a huge disaster. I found Peter and he turned the ugly mess into an awsome deck. I wish i'd hired Peter in the first place. He did excellent work and he did it all from first phone call to finish in 24 hours. 5 stars.

Peter was on time for our first meeting which was a good sign. They started on time. Great price, work done early, quality was excellent. It was a pleasure to do business with Peter. I absolutely love the deck and my neighbors are all asking for his help. Communication was excellent every step of the way. No surprises.
