Excellent. Reached out promptly and asked good questions about my job. Work was scheduled in less than a week. Arrived when promised and did exactly what I asked him to do. Was more complicated than expected, but stuck to original quote. I would hire Millwood again.

Hopefully, they return and do it right, but nothing about this vent hood installation is correct. Basically needed 6 smooth pipes ran from vent hood through ceiling (or wall) and out the wall to single flap damper. They said they had to install the whole hood..so I said ok. Hood mounted 4 7/8 too high (over 32 from top of range) way over print! Obviously no room for the crown molding, They used flex duct and multi-damper... nothing correct. I even went over with them all material that would be needed when quoted. Hopefully they fix it... and hopefully, the hole in the side of my house was drilled to line up with the 6 smooth duct with only one bend.. but feeling dubious. So their suggested solution was for me to pay an extra $1500 to redo vent and run through the wall with me also being responsible for cost to repair hole in ceiling and hole in the side of my house!! (And I would have to find someone else to fix that) . Simple project gone totally wrong! So update after their comment- this company simply does NOT know NC building code or have a Mechanical Contractor license to run ducting. If they run flex plastic to a range hood it is in violation of NC building code! All I want is my money back and to be reimbursed for removing what they did but they will not do that. Will have to go to court for fraud charges, code violations, and reimbursement for the damages to my house.
