Quality construction of a non-standard piece

We hired Marcos recently to build a piece of custom outdoor furniture for us, and working with him made the entire process an outstanding success! Marcos was very prompt in reaching out to me the very first evening, shortly after I created the project and requested quotes; in fact, I appreciated the fact that, in his initial message, he shared some preliminary information about his qualifications and also discussed his enthusiasm for opportunities to help design and build custom pieces. Throughout the project, Marcos demonstrated very strong communication skills, by listening carefully, seeking and providing clarification when needed, and sharing regular progress updates. We were very pleased with the reasonable estimate that we received from Marcos; we both felt that he understood the scope and the necessary details of the project more than the one other business that responded to our request for quotes, yet his estimate was approximately half that of the other one we received. Marcos kept every scheduled appointment, arrived on time, and completed all aspects of the job in a timely way, which was very important to us, given that we were having to work around external timelines. We can say, without hesitation, that Marcos is definitely a craftsman, as evidenced by the care and creativity with which he designed and built our special project! Furthermore, the fact that he is committed to using materials carefully, without being wasteful, and recycling materials where possible and appropriate, is a big plus, from our perspective. In closing, we were delighted that we had hired Marcos for our project, as he showed himself to be personable and, most importantly, professional. Excellent workmanship and attitude. Marcos designed and built a special cabinet for an alter, and the cabinet turned out to be a piece of art all on its own. He also designed and built a storage shed for a small outdoor area, as well as an easily removable faux wall in my studio to create the experience of separate rooms. Creative and extremely knowledgeable - the finished products he designed and built are durable and attractive.
