Vickie Swenson, Minnesota Mold, was recommended to me by Alicia Leiviska of Northerneer Building Inspections, and man, was Minnesota Mold the BEST route to take! My daughter had what we suspected was mold in her apartment in Minneapolis from the time she moved in and management was completely unresponsive to our requests to fix it. I finally decided to hire a professional inspector. Vickie's thorough inspection and report (including lab results) proved to management that there was, indeed, a serious problem. Management hired the best mold remediation company in the Twin Cities, Bedrock Restoration, and this company followed Vickie's recommendations exactly. Bedrock and Vickie stayed in communication with one another and us throughout the process. Vickie was included in all emails between myself, my daughter, and management, and I believe management knowing that Vickie was privy to everything being said by them, kept management on task and not cutting corners. The job is now finished, and Vickie went back and did follow up testing on her own (we didn't even ask her to do it) and found that the entire problem was resolved (mostly because the BEST mold remediation company was hired). Now I can rest easier, knowing my daughter isn't breathing in toxic mold or other fumes on a daily basis. If ANYONE out there has a suspected mold problem, PLEASE do yourself a favor and hire VICKIE SWENSON, MINNESOTA MOLD INSPECTION, LLC! The cost is very reasonable, and you will be able to relax a little bit knowing that a TRUE PROFESSIONAL is handling the situation. I recommend Vickie 100%!

Vickie is awesome; she initially came in and tested in multiple areas for mold levels. When the results came back she gave very detailed instructions on how to resolve the issues. We ended up hiring a company to come in and do the work for us. Vickie came back for a follow up check when they were done to check the levels again. She knows her stuff and would not hesitate to hire her again

Vickie Swenson was amazing she was an advocate for us as consumers and talked to the mold companies herself to make sure they were performing up to standard. Vickie arrived as agreed and went right to work. She looked over all the areas of the home, from the attic to the entire basement, concentrating on areas that I suspected might hide problems. She air-tested 3-4 major areas, pulled carpet, checked all sinks and toilets for leaks, even tested the screen porch carpet. I am anticipating the formal report this week, six days after the inspection. In addition, Vickie is very communicative and gave me lots of good information, and she promised to provide mitigation instructions so I can do it myself!

Great customer service and Vicki actually took the time to explain the process to me which helped me understand the situation better. My clients had purchased a home with mold in the walk out basement, had it remediated and then Vicki came in and did the air quality test to make sure it was safe for them to continue with 5 children, that was a huge concern to the family. She did a great job & made them feel confident that it was taken care of.

Having mold diagnosed in one's home, eventually requiring a huge mold remediation project ($12,000) was not pleasant. HOWEVER---Vickie was incredibly kind and encouraging in her manner, so thorough in her process, and so helpful with education and follow-up. To be able to combine professional expertise with such a human touch is a great gift. I also liked that she is an independent contractor, that future business, like landing a remediation job, did not depend on the results of the test, because she is not tied in to a remediation company. I completely trusted the integrity of the test results. I can't recommend her high enough!!!

I had a wonderful experience. Vickie takes her time to make sure that she tested everywhere to make us safe. She found three different kinds of mold, which is why I had been sick. We hired a contractor, after I went to a hotel and when they pulled off drywall it was amazing what grew behind. I have been living in a hotel for the last six weeks while it gets cleaned and fixed in all the areas. It was completely worth it!
