Tyler did a great job and was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was responsive and caring throughout the process. Since this is something not to take lightly, we wanted to be sure to hire the right outfit. We felt comfortable with Tyler and his partner right away.

I'm not typically 100% satisfied with home services. So to give 5 stars is a big thing for me. From the very first phone call and throughout the entire process, the men in this company were exceptional. Good listeners, set expectations upfront, thorough in explaining everything, were prompt in getting the situation fixed (even though they were busy), made themselves available day, night and weekend to answer questions. And just went above and beyond. Special shout out to Tyler who was the lead in the whole project. Tyler went way above and beyond. He works hard, cares and gets the job done! Thank you!!!

Very disappointed with the total experience. 1) Person on phone gave me different quote on sample testing than the person showed up at home. 2) Person who came home to assess the mold - did not even checked the wide spread of the mold. He just look at one spot and came down with the picture. I do not know how they will give me the remediation plan 3) They took the sample for testing and did not even bother to inform me of any delay. I called them on 3rd day and make them send me the report immediately. I was wondering to use another service and compare their services and testing results because the person did not took the right sample. I will not recommend anyone to use them instead I will suggest get a kit from amazon and do it yourself.

If I could rate them 10 stars out of 5, I would! Patrick, Tyler and David were fantastic to work with - very professional, hard-working and trustworthy. They worked 2 weekends in a row (besides during the week) to get the job done. Two things that they did that the other companies that I looked at don't do is 1. Take before and after air samples to ensure that all the mold was removed. 2. Give us a letter of certification that all the mold was removed to show any future buyers of the house. Highly, HIGHLY recommended company!

We are so glad we found them! We worked with David, Patrick and Tyler; all of them are professional, knowledgable, patient, and respectful to both us and our home. We had the bad stuff buried in the walls of a basement storage room and they were very quick in dealing with it. Reassuring to have the third party verification included as part of the service. Do not even think about calling them. They call non stop after they are done with other services they try to sell you or call about storm damages when there isn't even any in my area. Told them twice already in about half a year to stop calling me & they still do even when they said they won't. Also, told them in my email to not call me again, but they have like 5 different numbers.

"The customer reached out to us through Home Advisor and we initially responded by phone and scheduled an appointment to perform an inspection on their residence (1st call). We collected samples at the time of the inspection and shipped the samples to the lab. After we received lab results, we followed up with the customer by phone (2nd call) to review the lab results and provide an estimate for remediation. The customer declined our remediation services. Six months later, the customer posted this negative review and we realized they must have confused us with another company. After an unsuccessful attempt to reach the customer by phone to explain the obvious mistake, we left a voice mail explanation (3rd call) and do not have any intentions of contacting them again. The customer has not responded to the voice mail at the time of this response."

Indoor Air Quality Testing
From the start, there was too much focus on possible remediation and we have not even done the air sample test or gotten the results. All I needed from them is to get the air sample, run the test, provide the results back and give me expert opinion on the results. I really didn't need all the talk about what remediation steps are that are relayed in the jargon that is purposefully not easy to understand.

"We were asked to provide indoor air quality sampling and lab results to determine if the occupants were residing in unsafe conditions. Upon visual inspection of the property, it was obvious from finding numerous areas containing visible microbial growth and lab results supported the need for mold remediation. In an effort to provide the best possible professional recommendations, we felt it necessary to explain the necessary steps needed to protect you and your family from exposure while we were waiting on lab results. Unfortunately, our attempts to contact you have been unsuccessful."

Talk about quick service. I was lucky. I didnt have mold. Since Im allergic to it, I was really concerned. Their initial response was immediate and the home visit convenient. Theyre very thorough and about as personable as you can get. Dont hesitate to hire them. I have peace of mind now.

I had a couple of contractors come to evaluate my home and give me estimates. Minnesota Mold was more expensive and they were also providing a more complete solution with the value being much higher than what others offered to provide. From the time of giving an estimate, they made sure to not introduce cross-contamination and wore PPE (personal protection equipment such as gloves and full face respirator) when appropriate; something that others didn't do. I felt safe with Minnesota Mold coming into my home to ensure it was healthy for my family. In addition, I was working with a compressed timeline due to my intense travel schedule and the thanksgiving holiday. John and Jim were very accommodating in getting the work done thoroughly and working with my schedule. They communicated very well and were very professional in all aspects. In the end, I was very satisfied with the service that was provided.

Jim the owner was very responsive and knowledgeable. It is good to see that good customer service isnât dead, Jim understood my uneasyness with have a baby on the way and with the threat of Black Mold to our house. Jim was able to visit our home 3 hrs from our conversation and it was even on a Saturday. Highly recommended Jim and Minnesota Mold Services, Inc.
