It was difficult to give an accurate idea of the scope and type of work that I needed over the phone. So, when they arrived we began with an assessment of what was required and how we could work together. The charges from this assessment came in at close to 3 times the level of what the phone estimate had been, but I had no time to do any more comparisons because I needed help right away. Fortunately, they had come on time and we spent the next 5 hours steadily packing up cartons, moving boxes into appropriate areas, sweeping/vacuuming newly emptied spaces and cleaning windows. The windows looked great and much more was accomplished by us together than would have been had I worked alone, for which I was thankful. There was still more work to do which they said they would return for the following weekend; but the agreed-upon time passed and they did not come. Later I called to find out what had happened and was told the absence was due to one of them having back problems.
