Mission Maids continues to be a family owned and operated business and has been delivering exceptional maid service to residents of the Los Angeles area since 1987. Quality assurance is of primary importance and all our work is guaranteed. We have an "A" rating from the Better Business Bureau. In addition to being fully trained and experienced, our housekeepers are required to pass a thorough background check. Mission Maids teams environmentally friendly supplies and the teams carry commercial grade equipment. Mission Maids is licensed, bonded and fully insured. Mission Maids accepts personal checks and credit cards including American Express, VISA, Mastercard and Discover. Mission Maids is available 7 days a week. Rates are always quoted by the hour by the maid with the introductory discount applied. Weekdays $29 per hour per maid, Sat $32 per hour per maid and Sun $34 per hour per maid. Larger teams work faster and therefore cost the same since we prorate the time.

I used Mission Maids' services for several times; Team 3 was always sent to me and they were pretty good. However, I requested maid services on the day before Thanksgiving of 2010, and a new team was sent to my house. They badly scratched my bathtub, which I hired a contractor to resurface and refinish in August 2010. When I called to complain, the person answered the phone said it's a he said she said situation and they are not liable. When I demand to speak to the manager, he said the owner was not in and he would ask the owner to call me back. They never did. I moved my business elsewhere and I suggest everyone do the same.

I really need a company like this but unfortunately when they came they ended up bringing family members (a male husband and a young daughter) sitting around while the other two worked - being home alone I did not appreciate a random man in my home. They broke my curtain cord and vacuum too. After some headache the company did not charge me and the owner although hard to track down was some what apologetic. This is so upsetting.

Post Construction Clean up
we hired mission maids to do a post-reconstruction cleanup (no furniture nor blinds, only an empty house) we gave them exact items to clean, specifically in the kitchen and bathrooms around cabinets, and iniside the cabinets. after they charged us 4 hours (2 people) cleaning the house, we found that there was still a layer of dust on the backsplash and in some shelves in our cabinets. there was also some hairs and gel like substance in one of our bathroom drawers. the wood floors felt sticky to walk on with bare feet. granted they gave us a good hourly rate, but for 4 hours worth of work there were definitely things that were missed.

They were great the first time they came out and I had planned to use them regularly, but then they came out again. (I did not need a crew of three) and the older women grumbled the entire time. They did not clean the house properly, even though I showed them what I needed (my husband is allergic to dust) I was very clear about that in the order and the bed has to be made a certain way. I could not even get a proper price from the manager this time. I was very disappointed. I found someone else who is very professional and willing to work with me.

I called Mission Maids to find out what I could expect for the price quoted. I was quoted a price that included dusting of furniture, lamps, knick knacks, ceiling fans, blinds and window sills - according to the housekeepers that were sent out, that would be extra. So they didnt do the dusting. I called to complain, and a different crew was sent out to do the dusting. But they also confirmed, dusting is not included and that should have been explained on the phone. SO my complaint is false advertising when hiriing. I will not be using their services again.

Very dissatisfied. Didn't adhere to the time limit (2 hours for a completely vacant 1200 sq ft. house)and when I showed up to the house they had been there 3 1/2 hours and were still cleaning. What they had cleaned was done 'ok' but not what I expected from professionals. My husband and I had to finish the job that night which included the kitchen and family and dining room and part of a bathroom. What were they doing for 3 1/2 hours? I have no idea. The only real decent thing I will say is that Mission Maids charged me for 2 hours and not the 3 1/2 they were there "cleaning". I would've rather saved the 120 bucks and done it all myself.

Fast, efficient and friendly. I would hire them again. Cost for 1 bedroom, 1 1/4 baths, living room and kitchen (including oven and refrig) and all windows inside was $145.00. They finished in aout 2 1/2 hours. Arrived on time (8am).

I liked Mission Maids. I didn't make one thing clear enough (it's my fault and I do NOT blame the team), however if there were someone that spoke a bit better English, it would be good. I will say that everything cleaned was done quite well and I'm overall very happy with the service.

They contacted me right after I posted my info in this website. They were very polite over the phone, not pushy. I made an appointment, that I have to reschedule later on, they were very acomodating. They explained the rates and hours well in advance so there are no misunderstandings. The house was in very bad shape due to the time past since the last cleaning, but they did a really good job. I will definately have tehm coming in a regular basis. The only thing missing is a follow up call after the service, if not the same day, in one or two.
